If you pick the evacuate ending, it leaves plenty of room for a sequel. It would be cool if it checked your previous save file too to see if you saved Zulf or left him for dead

Now, as for a sequel I'd like to see get made, I'm not really sure... I mean, there have been so few IP's that have sequel material built-in that it's hard to try and pick one... I suppose I'm a sucker for these sorts of games, but Legend of Grimrock would probably by high on my "wish for sequel" list...

I'm in agreement with this fella; fix up the design flaws of the original Mirrors Edge and make it third person, and it would be an absolutely fantastic game.dumbseizure said:
This time, they could probably fit in that multiplayer that they promised. It would be great. On the other hand, some levels gave you too much ammunition for certain weapons, that grenade launcher and sniper rifle were pretty OP against almost anyone, except bosses. That game was absolutely fantastic, and was nowhere near as well received as it should've been. And the only improvements I'd like for a sequel would be an open world (Like Assassins Creed, only actually parkour instead of just climbing on stuff. And a story that isn't bollocks). Aside from that...I'd rather no sequels. I'd rather have original games that are long and rich with story and universe. Like Mass Effect 1, if there hadn't been sequels.

I'm in the Mirror's Edge camp, though I've got the nagging feeling that they're gonna try to implement Cell Shading over the cool art design they did with the original game.

Definitely Republic Commando 2, for two very good reasons.
First, it would probably have sweet coop, the first game was practically made for cooperative play but they clearly didn't feel it was worth the resources. Today, with the obvious popularity of games life Left 4 Dead it is very likely Republic Commando 2 would have a full coop campaign.
Second, and most importantly... It would be goddamn Imperial Commando. You would be taking orders from the Sith and attempting to exterminate Jedi. The prequels may have failed utterly in making this seem cool, but I am almost positive a game in which you play a squad of clones post Order 66 would be epic.

This might've been said already, but I strongly desire a Psychonauts sequel. The ending to that game left me with such a strong desire for MOAR! I've heard that the maker of Minecraft said he was willing to give money to Tim Schafer to make a sequel, but there hasn't been a news update for that, or at least none that I have heard/
