Shandalar 2 - A cryptic Magic the Gathering game that blew away anything the Planeswalker games hope to achieve.
Just curious; is there a different MtG game than the one Microprose made that was set in Shandalar? Or do some people just call it Shandalar?

Because if you're advocating a proper sequel to the Microprose M:tG then you have my full support.
You got it!
I apparently never knew the games real name.
I learned of this game under the name Shandalar and simply stuck with it.

Ah, good times. My brother and I convinced our parents to drive to a store a couple hours away since they actually had it when it came out, and nothing local to here did.

We cheated our way through that thing so much when it first launched on account of the "tap your opponent's land" glitch.

I was actually really close to making a Wii U thread because there are a lot of Nintendo games that I would really like to see in the near future. I'm just going to make a list here...

Teleroboxer! On the 3DS you can get a fully realized version of the best reason to own a Virtual Boy. This game was basically first-person Punch-Out with robots. It's an extremely challenging game but really rewarding to finally knock out different opponents. The 3DS would probably be the best way to go with Teleroboxer but a full U release could bring about a potentially great touch-screen control scheme or use both control sticks in a similar way to how the original game controls (ie: one control stick controls the corresponding arm)

Star Fox! I would want this on the Wii U and fully realized in true HD. I would love a true Star Fox 2 but if we just get an HD remastering of Star Fox 64/ Star Fox SNES I would be...willing to pay for that if it wasn't a $60 release. Unless they completely remaster both games and release them as an HD collection but I don't see that happening. Either way: new would be best.

Castlevania! This is the one where I want to see a remake of the NES games (that includes Simon's Revenge) and Super Castlevania. It doesn't need to be in HD of course but I would love to see all four games given a visual face lift AND NOTHING ELSE. I would prefer to see this released as a 3DS collection cart but if it were to end up on the Wii U virtual console that would be excellent too. I would also love to see a classic-style Castlevania game but with out any items: It's just you and your whip. Think Sequelitis: where the game is designed around whip mechanics.

Final Fantasy! By which I mean a Final Fantasy that gives the illusion of being completely open until you get that Airship. I want a new numerical Final Fantasy that takes place in a world that melds fantasy and sci-fi where the main character is either non-human or, someone who's best friend is a non-human. I would also love to see a return to a classic Final Fantasy battle system (ie: pre 7 but I would be glad to go back to something similar to 10).

I really want Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4

I loved the first game back on the Gamecube, didn't quite like the second, but a return to the amazing simplicity of the first one in HD would be fantastic. I'd buy it day 1 most certainly.

For a long while it has been Timesplitters, which is purely because it was so absurdly fun. Now I realise though that it wrapped up very well with the last game so as a package it works.

However what has replaced it is, in many ways it's spiritual successor, Bulletstorm. That game was fun, funny, challenging and bloody innovative. It also left the story very much with a sequel needed... and it's not getting one. For fucks sake world!

Well seeing as I have been ninja'd with Persona 5, Legacy of Kain, and Medival 3. I guess I'll have to say, Vectorman 3, Wild Arms 6, and a real fucking sequel to Parasite Eve! not that 3rd Birthday bull shit they tossed out. But I digress, Vectorman 3, would be awesome as a side scrolling 2.5D shooter.

Right now? Persona 5. I just watched the P4Arena cutscenes and it seems like big things are a brewin'. And Michelle might be in it! Ooooh baby I'm pumped!

But as for more unlikely ones I'd crave, a Baten Kaitos 3 or Lost Odyssey 2 would make my heart skip a beat. I also can't wait for Mount & Blade 2, Shin Megami Tensei IV and The Mystical Realms of Tir nA nOg, Escape from Necron 7: Revenge of Cu Chullain: The Movie, The Game: Part 2 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa.

The game just offered so many hilariously absurd moments.

- Opponent attacks me with 2/4 Giant Spider and I block with a 2/2 Grizzly Bear. The opponent then casts Giant Growth giving MY Grizzly Bear +3/+3 so I live and his Giant Spider dies!

- Or the early part of the game where players only have 4 or 5 life totals and you start the game with 2 lightning bolts.

- The fact that you could have 4 Black Lotus or 4 Sol Rings if you were lucky enough.

- Starting a game with 6 life and your opponent has a Shivan Dragon already in play with zero lands on the board.

Going to have to go with Nexus the Jupiter Incident 2.
From that list, I'd have chosen KotoR 3 if not for the fact that Bioware would ruin it.

Definitely got to be Mirror's Edge 2.

I am craving that like it's crack!
Seconded.
Also thirded.
And fourthed.

And so on.

Imagine mirror's edge in an open world on the scale of an assassin's creed game or, even better, Just Cause 2 scale.

Hard choices (KOTOR 3 and Battlefront 3) but I choosing Republic Commando 2. Come on already! When the hell are they going to explain what happend to that missing member??? (I forgot his name.) Seriosuly they had only one cameo in the Clone Wars cartoon and nothing more which is a waste as with that show being popular, they can expand more about Delta Squad like what missions they took on next and etc.

What sequel that probably won't be made do you want the most? Note, the options that I gave you are the games that I want to be made.
Voted for other. Honestly, I have no particular interest to play any of the specific poll choices. What I would really love is a System Shock 3.

It's a series I love, and the second game ended on a ridiculous cliffhanger. As for the "probably won't be made" part... this is why:

In 2006, a trio of rumors hinted that Electronic Arts was making System Shock 3. First came a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Then came a couple of unconfirmed reports in Shacknews and PC Gamer U.K., with the latter publication reporting that EA?s Redwood Shores studio was handling development.

But even if EA wanted to publish another System Shock, the company didn't have the rights to do so. Back when the original game was made, producer Warren Spector negotiated a deal in which EA got the trademark to the series, while the developers at Looking Glass Studios kept the rights. To create another System Shock game, you need both. "My thinking was it would force us to be married so it never would be that either party should be able to say we own that, we?re making the next game, screw you," Spector told the San Jose Mercury News last November.

In hindsight, the deal only jeopardized System Shock?s future. Looking Glass Studios closed in 2000, a year after System Shock 2's release, and the copyright to the series went into the hands of an insurance company. That left EA with only the System Shock name, but no actual development rights.

Same goes for System Shock. In fact, I'm not even sure who owns that brand anymore, let alone what the chances are of seeing another. (I'm sure a quick Google search will rectify the ownership part.)
In case you haven't had the chance to Google search it, you may want to check out the link I posted above. It covers the somewhat depressing history and future of the System Shock series.

A new Chrono Trigger/Cross game. I loved them both, and JRPGs are dieing out so I'd love to have a new good one. I know that will never happen which is why I want it the most.

I demand my KoTORs.

Give me new, HD KoTORS!! Not an MMO, but a squeal. Heck, I'd even settle for a re-release of a completed and expanded KoTOR 2.
