A new top-down GTA would be nice too, but really anything less real would be nice.
Those are some very good games to be getting on with but if you ever win a DS in a raffle or something, go out and get Chinatown Wars right away. It's much better than GTA4.![]()
I imagined the reviews spurting more like pus from boils but even if it worked fine and the missions were fun, I didn't feel that it added anything new to (or missing from the) GTA4 experience; which (for fans of the franchise) was missing a whole lot.miracleofsound said:Thank you! I couldn't agree more. Once again the entire gaming media kisses rockstar's ass with 10/10 reviews spurting like diahhroea from its collective anus, without realising that actually, TLATD is broken, buggy, repetitive and frustrating.GonzoGamer said:[
And if Lost & Damned is the calibre of DLC they're going to be shoveling, they should just stop now.
exactly. I'm so tired of GTA and other "shock value" games that just try to reach for the grotesque in a hope to appeal to this generation of idiots. They are for 12 year old kids who think "ohhh man, this is some mature stuff" while the rest of us sit back and laugh at how over the top and ridiculous it's all become. Adult themes do not make a game mature, intelligibility does.pirateninj4 said:How about something that doesn't involve the same old tired, played out, whore-of-an-idea and they come up with something new and interesting using their massive brand power to push creative game development and interest.
I'd like to see the much lauded Rockstar get their junk out of their hands and make something for people other than the foamy mouth xbox generation.
Haha, much betterGonzoGamer said:Good point, allow me to re-phrase:Avida said:I might do, but being better than GTA isnt all that hard to doGonzoGamer said:Well...Avida said:Got no DS, moreover i've still got half of oblivion, left 4 dead, street fighter, valkeria chronicals and freaking world of warcraft on my plate right now XDGonzoGamer said:See GTA Chinatown Wars. It's like the old (top-down) style GTA with better controls (though the targeting could use some more finesse of course) and a crazy amount of fun stuff to do on top of all the things you expect from an old GTA.
