From central California, so central California in fact my hometown's says "Exact center of California" right under the welcome sign. You can even get a license plate for it. Anyways despite the rumor not all of us here live near a beach and sure. Its not always sunny and we all don't hang out at Starbucks bitching about Bush.

Im from Texas and not everyone wears cowboy hats and is a republican.
I'm visiting family right now in Texas(in Austin), haven't seen a single cowboy hat. Though so far everyone does say "Y'all" and they don't look when there crossing the street. What the hells up with that anyways?

New Mexico, where the weather is controlled by a giant rabbit on a treadmill that is randomly given either crack or tranquilizers and random intervals.

Seriously, I have seen it rain on a cloudless day, I've seen dust storms that have blocked the nearby MOUNTAIN RANGE from view, I've seen Christmases that were 75 degrees and sunny, and I've even a snow day in the middle of May.

Of course, here it only takes about an inch or so(sometimes less) to warrant a snow day, but still...May.

Utah, this is the place!

It's got beautiful mountains, canyons, and forests. I live in the populated Davis County right between Salt Lake City (the only REAL big city in the state) and Ogden, so the city I'm in is populated just enough to have all the niceties of life without being overcrowded. And I get to feel good knowing that the majority of the world has insane misconceptions about everything involving this state.

Land of Lincoln here.

Depending on what sports team you ask, we are both East and West. Central too.

EDIT: What the fuck is wrong with you Washington people?! Can't you even agree on how awesome you are?!?!?!?!?!?

: P
Never! That's another thing that makes us so awesome, we have so many awesome things that we have to fight over which part is the most awesome. That or all the rain has replaced our brain goo with water and thus has made us a bit on the strange side.

I think we can all agree on what doesn't make us awesome, we have too many fucking hipsters.

But hipsters are cool!!

You must be thinking of that new fangled hipster, the type people call others they don't like. It's okay to hate, most people do for no reason ; P
I'm talking about the motherfuckers whit the ugly neck beards, sweater vests, skinny jeans, and those fucking plastic framed glasses with fake lenses in them. They insist upon be contrary to everyone else and then when that becomes popular they complain about them being sellouts.

I FUCKING HATE THOSE HIPSTERS.

I'm a Pennsylvania native. Why are we awesome? you have a constitution. You're very welcome.

XD oka, besides that, there's alot. I mean, Pittsburgh, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, all highly important cities in the American history.
Also Pennsylvania. We just win.

EDIT: We also have the Amish and the Pennsylvania Dutch.

*PA Dutch; Our food is just awesome.
Hell yeah! Pennsylvania high five!

Yep I'm from PA. Not that far from Philly, about 25 miles. I'm also pretty close to the "Mushroom Capital of the World". Seriously there are a lot of mushroom farms around where I live. And don't they smell just great when they spread the maniure.

*Breathes in through the nose* Ah, smells of home.

And speaking of the Amish, I'm 1/4 Pennsylvania Dutch. Grandfather left the community when he was 18. And they do make some good food.
