For me, I don't think I'd miss the Pyro. It would at least keep the noise "IM BURNING IM BURNING!" off cause its not we don't get enough of that.

Which is odd because the class I would miss the most is the Medic, as it is my most played class. I say its odd because you hear MEDIC every 2 darn seconds, but even when there is no medic people will still get shot, therefore they will try in vain to call for medical assistance even if there is no doctor in the house.

Voted Demoman, though Soldier was a close second.

reason? simple - i despise classes who are used merely for the purpose of spamming splash-damage attacks. and also the sheer number of people who play demoman and do sweet FA other than running around their base doing nothing except swinging their swords at thin air.
and the soldier's rocket jump must be the most idiotic tactic ever devised.

can i get £2000 for removing 2 classes?

As much as I love playing the soldier, his role is just that he's an "all around" kind of class. He doesn't really have much of a specialty. I think that removing him would probably have the least amount of impact on the gameplay (though I would totally cry if they did remove him, he's my second most played class).

I would say Scout, only because every other class seems to have a specific job.
The Engie builds sentries, the Medic heals, the Pyro checks for Spys, the Spy sabotages the enemy, the Heavy acts as a roadblock/tank, the Demo defends with stickies/provides cover fire with pipes, the Sniper picks enemies off from a distance, and the Soldier acts as a good standard class (think Mario in Brawl).
whereas each class has a specific job, or a specific enemy it's meant to target (Pyro/Spy, Sniper/Heavy, etc.), the Scout doesn't have a clear target or objective. he's useful for capping points/pushing carts/running intel, but he doesnt have the defense to back it up. the Scattergun packs a punch, but it rarely makes up for his glass bones and paper skin. if you can manage to get close to an enemy without dying, the Scout is great, but I find him to be too situational.
still love all the classes (Scout included), it's just that he's probably my least favorite.

I think Sniper is one of those classes that's less accessible than others, but absolutely terrifyingly lethal in good hands.
It's like how a Pyro can work ok in the hands of a new player, but will probably still get his ass kicked by anyone past about 10 metres.

Have you tried playing a game on, say, Turbine against an pro sniper? I have and I still have nightmares about it. He was topping the leaderboard and basically insta-killing anyone who left the roller door. He was basically the big reason they won.

How about a remove-8-get-2-free deal? $10000 to turn the game into, I dunno, a Scout war. Which is only like 5000 pounds now that I think about it.

I can't believe how few votes the Engi has.

Give him a room with one entrance and a corner outside of any snipable line of sight, along with enough time to drop a dispenser and a turret, and he becomes a completely broken f****** annoyance.

Probably Sniper. Many a times there are Snipers having there own mini-game of sniping/countersniping, whilst everyone else is busy furthering objectives, and generally playing the game. Remove him, and probably wouldn't have that much of a difference in many situations.

And that is why they must go. >_>

Seriously, bad Snipers are useless and great ones are neigh-invincible. I've played against terrifyingly good Snipers and it sucks all the fun out of the game, you never even get to fight them. This applies to Spies as well to an extent, but if you catch him before you're backstabbed you should be able to take him no matter how good they are, a fantastic Sniper can still headshot you from two feet away (<--Has actually happened to me BTW -__-).

I could also go with the sniper being removed, I suppose.

The Spy though, is A. One of the more interesting and unique classes, and B. One of the only ways to take out a big sentry nest. Often he can't even do it on his own, but let's say 5 sentries are all grouped up down a big alleyway, too strong for demomen to launch. A spy can walk right up, place sappers, and signal a group of allies to move in on it.

As a mostly-spy player, i find a huge advantage in facing a team of 8/12 snipers... they're generally selfish players, and don't cover each other's asses.

i think this is more of a problem with how the map is designed, not the sniper, they need to have at least one more "lowdown" route to take where being sniped means the sniper has to physically be down there with you too, which would then get rid of the "invincibility" of the sniper, as he couldn't just watch one/two entries.

(i have gone on those sniping sprees and yes they feel amazing but it is pretty cheap when you can watch one/two entries the whole game.)
