I am a crazy mix of all of them. I like being unpredictable as it is usually more powerful. I might sneak up on you or walk right up to your face, you don't know me!

This poll fails for not including pyros. Fuck if anything is more awesome then a screaming maniac running right into the middle of things, usually while on fire, lighting other people on fire while everything around him is in some phase of burned to a crisp.

...Fuck I could even kill people with a notable rate of success with the flamethrower in HALO. top that.

There's something satisfying running through a haze of artillery smoke and gunfire with medkit in hand, just to save one guy in the middle of it all. So yes, I chose Tanker.

I'm a sniper most of the time, but generally not so good at it. Mostly, I'm an assault-guy... it's easier to charge in.

Though, In Battlefield 2142, I tended to lean towards Medic. I got more points that way, because I'm rubbish at actually shooting people.

Oh, I'm a Special Ops all the way. A high accuracy, good damage rifle (not actually a sniper rifle, they're too slow), a good couple of hiding spots to run between, and the option to just rush into the fray if I want, that's the way for me. I just like crouching down and picking folks off from just outside of their effective range. It's just so satisfying!

Depends on what I'm playing. I like being a sniper, but if I'm playing, say, Resistance I'm a medic.

im quite adaptable... but i generally end up playing a sneaky sneaky type, a wizard, or both. (ninja wizards rock) unless im REALLY good at the game, then i occasionally play the run-in-guns-blazing type.

but no matter what i do i remember the words of someone who was very wise and/or possibly insane "just remember that you try plan a THEN plan b. hit points are only a nessecity if you plan on getting hit."

I'm generally pulled to Medic if there's a vacancy (usually is...) unless I notice a enemy sniper not moving around alot and killing myself or allies then I switch over to Sniper and equal the playing field starting with the enemy sniper and not staying in one place. Either way if no enemy is in sight i try to watch the map for any enemy movement that might be a threat I've also been told I'm a great transport driver/dropship pilot ... though I've grown to fear others at the helm.

I'm the sneaky ass that enjoys sniping the little snots on X-Box live, and watching the pitiful little bastards scramble around trying to stay out of my sight picture, damn but I shouldn't enjoy that so much. Therapy here I come.

I'm a sniper/assault.

Can't get enough off of the sniping, but then again I always have the pack up pistol to go running in.

I alternate between being a sneaky fucker, a "WAAGH I IZ ASSAULTZIN UR BAES," maniac, and a nice-guy who is always the sacrificial lamb, who I would class as a medic.

Well, I don't play FPSs, which is what I assume you're talking about, but I do play World of Warcraft.
Which I guess means you could call me a medic, 'cause my main other than my DPS shaman is a holy priest.

I'm, erm, none of those. I guess if I were ever to be, I'd probably be a medic because it sounds like it involves the least shooting and avoiding being shot.

Just out of interest, when exactly did 'gamer' become synonymous with 'person who plays FPS'? I don't play FPS so does that mean I'm not a gamer?
