Yeah, you should add track pad or touch pad(for laptop users).

I mainly use optical.

I use the stock Dell optical mouse that came with this computer. Works well enough since I don't play online and thus don't need the sort of precision that a blue-laser (not to be confused with Cheat Commandos villains of the same name) provides.

Optical Intellimouse. My preferred mouse for quite awhile, but it seems to have a problem with Vista 64. Seems like 40% of the time it'll double click when pressed once. Microsoft just says it's a problem with your clicking habit, or old drivers, or a dirty mouse. Tested on XP, Windows 98, and Windows ME and it works just fine, and has the latest Vista drivers as well. Oh well.

I use a Razer Diamondback, or a DeathAdder or something...I forgot.

My Dad uses a trackball, but they aren't great for gaming. Well actually, they are for MMOs, but not for FPS or regular RPGs.

I, sir or madam, also use that mouse. I've had mine for years and it's the most reliable one I have found.

For gaming, I use a Razer Lachesis coupled with a Razer Destructor Mousepad. I also use the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition Keyboard. This combination comes highly recommended for FPS's.

For non-gaming situations, I have a trusty Logitech EX 110 mouse.

Laser mouse:

Had it for a long time and it's great with the ability to toggle sensitivity on the fly and the triple click button (orange) is GREAT for FPS's.

Most trackballs are bad for gaming, but the Logitech Trackman Trackball I use is probably the best gaming mouse I've ever had.
