I'm trying not to sound like a spam post here, but Razer make some of the best gear I've ever used, I'm a loyal customer and always will be. They're a little pricey, but it's more than worth it in the long run.

My Dad uses a trackball, but they aren't great for gaming. Well actually, they are for MMOs, but not for FPS or regular RPGs.
Most trackballs are bad for gaming, but the Logitech Trackman Trackball I use is probably the best gaming mouse I've ever had.
That's the one my dad has. It's pretty good.
I was going to get one with my new computer, but I got a Razer one instead. Works better for me.

I have a Laser mouse, my school still has trackball mice and they suck. Not because they're trackballs, but because my school thinks that want to steal the trackballs, so they super-glued the trackball case shut so now the dirt that gets in there stays for good, resulting in some shit-tastic mouse-performance.

Lachesis here. It took about a week for me to get used to it in CS and now I can't imagine ever going back. My kills/headshots ratio must have shot up 20% once I learned to control the twitch on that mouse.

Whats the diffrence between track ball and ball?
I got a lazer,
a trackball is similar to a ball, except the ball is on the top and you move it with your hand, rather than moving a mouse around your desk. it's not very common, however

*thankyou standard grade computing*
