I realized the other day that I couldn't see my floor under all my stuff. It's almost a college student stereotype to have your floor covered in things, yet to be able to find anything in it. What do you have on your floor (that shouldn't be there) and how bad is the mess?

I'm halfway through cleaning my room, so right now there are some plastic bags, a shoe rack (not assembled, still in the box), some hangars, 2 undergarments that I accidentally got in the wrong size and haven't bothered to return, a pair of headphones, a pack of... feminine pads... [sub][sub]What the heck are these doing here[/sub][/sub], 3 pairs of shoes, and some dresses.

I'm pretty good at knowing what I keep on the floor though. Handy when I'm looking for a piece of jewelry... they always end up at the bottom of the pile.

I know where everything on my floor is. My shelves are a totally different thing though. Can't find anything, no matter how hard I look.

I used to have a huge pile of dirty laundry in my room.

That was before my bf kept jumping into it and making laundry angels.

To him, "it's like jumping into a sexy pile" of me.

>_>

What is it about my dirty laundry that attracts him?

How on earth can you keep all of that on your floor?? Especially clothes, sounds like such a waste of clothes.

So yeah, I know where everything is; clothes in my wardrobe (or on a stool if I've worn them but not to the point that they have to be cleaned), books on one shelf, games on another 2 shelves, random shit in assorted drawers in said wardrobe.

The only minor mess on my room is my desk. There's some books I'm reading on there, some paid bills I haven't archived yet and cardboard packaging from some books I ordered that I haven't bothered to clean up yet and a couple of assorted items. That's pretty much it.

Your smell of course. But gods, if he can make 'laundry agels' what on earth is left to wear?! How people can live like that will always be a mistery to me.

I know where everything is, because it's all conveniently spread out on the floor! If I keep it packed away, I can't see where it is. But on the floor, well, that's a different story. I've made myself little paths through my various piles of clothing, books, magazines, games, bowls, boxes, plates and bedding so I can get to the door, but apart from that, it's pretty messy.

Every time I take something out of my cupboard I think "I should just put this back here when I am done it's so much easier". But without fail - it's always easier just to dump it on the floor. Shazzam.

Having cleaned my room the other day, it seems I have carpet, and a disappointing lack of gold bullion. Even silver would be nice, but no...

On the floor? I can find anything I've tossed there in seconds. It's still messy as fuck, but I put it there- I'd hope I could remember doing it.

Also, sajids/ ernmensi is my favorite random string, now. Thanks, anti-spam system.

Everything, papers, cards, coins, chocolat, dirty laundry, gym equipment, shoes, cables, batteries, external disks, newspapers, pens, headphones, packs of cookies, my passport, housekeys, backpack, laptop case, mobile charger.

Well you name it. It is there. And do not there to move it, the few times I finally decide its getting hard to move around and I go on clean and tide rampage then I have a hell of a time to find things and I end up throwing everything from wardrobe, draws, desk and cupboards back on the floor.

My floor's not that bad, I will occupationally lose something to it and not find it for weeks but normally the most important things are always at hand.

My floor is clean. The only things that are on the floor are my shoes which are lined up near the door and my backpack. I can't stand mess that much. I can't focus on much if my room is really messy.

o_O I have the general college-student related stuffies shoved in a corner (it's half term, I'm not thinking about tackling any of that for another week :p ). But I have a more messy pile of crap right in the middle of the room from when I got in last night, consisting of my clothes and all the stuffies from my pockets... I should probably pick it all up before I tread on something, liable to it as I am in my recovery phase. >_>

I'll sort it out later, I promise. >_<

I go through stages. Sometimes my floor is clean with nothing on it but shoes and other times it can't be seen.
