Yeah, they are pretty much my favorite books. I've read each of them multiple times. Tuesday is gonna be pretty sweet. Been looking forward to this for some time now. Sanderson breathes new life into the series, which Jordan had been almost fluffing. Essentially books 8/9 and 10/11 could have each been compressed together and not much would have changed. Then there are a few books where some characters are completely omitted. Like in one a wall falls on Mat and he's completely not in the next book. There is a book where Perrin is only mentioned in dreams. Definitely well worth a good reading.

Welcome to Sweden, where all the books were split into two, efficiently making 22 books of the series.

Got the first three on my 13th birthday and got hooked. Borrowed the rest from a library and finished them and the Prequel during the rest of the year.

That series is, in the true sense of the word, epic.
Wow. On the plus side, that means the paperbacks can survive more than one or two readings before their own size causes them to fall apart. I learned the hard way early on not to buy used paperbacks from this series, especially when more than one person in the house wants to read it. There are some cool young adult editions of at least the first few books here in the states that do the what you survived described, though. I seem to remember the one I looked at having cool The Dark Tower-style illustrations interspersed throughout, but that was far enough back that I could easily be mistaken.

Edit: That was not autocorrect, I actually typed "survived" when I meant "described." You can tell I haven't been getting enough sleep lately 0.o
