Dragons!

The fights aren't challenging at all, they take way too long, and somehow simply hiding while the dragon above puts on an air show for several minutes isn't fun. I would be able to tolerate that, but they appear just about every five fucking minutes, and are pretty much a guarentee to appear after quick traveling to anywhere.

I'm playing on the highest difficulty. I have three characters above 60-- a quintessential 'paladin,' wizard, and rogue.

My paladin hits for about 230 with his 2h mace. He also ignores 70% of armor, so there is little mitigating his mace. (Although min-maxers will say NPCs typically don't have armor, or have low armor, I've found that perk is the only way to increase my damage after a certain point of min-maxing.) He has a powerful restoration skill, so nothing harms him for long. I can literally wade into 8 enemies and shrug them off. He's also at the 80% physical mitigation cap.

He fears nothing.

My wizard has high level conjuration, illusion, alteration, and destruction. He can't kill things quickly, but between maintaining aggro with pets, and crowd-controlling everything with strong illusion spells, he's untouchable.

Stealth is OP as hell. I don't think I need to comment on its ease at a high level.

This game really isn't challenging-- I play it for the aesthetic, and the roleplay. If any enemy, I hate any and all Thalmor.

I'm a true Nord of Skyrim, and I hunt Thalmor religiously.
Well of course nothing scares you when you're that high-leveled. How about when you were still a neophyte adventurer? Anything give you pause then?
No. I played on the highest difficulty from 1-60 with all of my characters, and it hasn't been a challenge. I quite love the game-- love it to pieces-- but that adoration comes from a fondness of the game's aesthetic.

I'm going to have to go with mages.

I would previously have said bears and/or trolls, but I'm currently playing through with a heavy-armour-wearing, greatsword-wielding warrior, and she's now at the point where I can quite happily go toe-to-toe with bears or trolls without breaking a sweat, but higher level mages can still take me down in a couple of seconds flat - especially if there's more than one of them or they catch me off-guard :(

This may be kind of a cop-out but I hate how the super-powered, Boss-monsters which look exactly the same as their normal-powered counterparts. While pursuing Cicero there was a Draugr towards the end of the place he was hiding which looked exactly like the other dozen or so I just back-stabbed. I couldn't get behind the thing and it could always see me when I tried sneaking around it. It would take 2 or 3 hits before it was able to behead me too which was cool the first time but got old...I like fighting bosses but I would have liked to have seen a boss which looks different from its subordinates.

As for specific enemies who I hate to fight...not sure really...I sneak around well enough to avoid most confrontations.

This is lies. I usually try to give people benefit of the doubt but this is pure over-confident exaggeration. Playing on the highest difficulty, there is no way you can find the game easy.

On the topic at hand Chaurus are my bane. God damn they just poison and i ue my histskin to try to cancel it but the poison damages more than i can heal. The toughest fight ive had was with 3 chaurus' just poisoning me like it was their fetish.
If any of you really do find the game easy on high difficulty, i will proclaim you my new messiah.

Chaurus do seem like they'd be a pain at lower levels and/or on higher difficulties, but I guess I just missed the boat when it came to them. By the time I met them I was level 36, and a sneak attack arrow or two put them down.

Mother. Fucking. Chaurus.

The Falmer are only very slightly less annoying (I can instakill them with sneak-arrow now, making them much more beatable). But Chaurus can take loads of damage, move really fast, detect my sneaky archer guy really easily, spit poison, do lots of damage quickly up close and there are usually lots of the bastards. Fortunately, Flame Atronachs can usually show them who's boss.

Summoned Storm Atronachs are also downright terrifying, they tear me to pieces. Fortunately, I can usually just run away and wait for a minute for them to disappear.

The most frustrating moment in the whole game is when you escape the Thalmor embassy thinking you've just owned it, only to find yourself trapped in a very confined space with a Frost Troll. He must have fucked me up about a hundred times before I beat him by the skin of my teeth.
Just as a piece of advice for future playthroughs, I think you're meant to dodge round that bastard and run away. It's certainly what I did, before instantly fast-travelling away before it could follow me out of its stupid little cave.

I voted "general humanoids," but I mostly just mean the Forsworn. It seems like I can't even walk a few miles in the Reach without being jumped by those assholes, which is doubly annoying if they have mages with them (which they usually do), who can sometimes damn near insta-kill my character.

But that's all just from a gameplay perspective (well, except for the fact that the ungrateful bastards still continue to attack even after I freed their king), as I can sort of sympathize with their plight despite all the trouble they give me. From a more narrative perspective, my most hated enemies are the Thalmor, who are far bigger assholes in the context of the story, being the insufferably evil elf Nazis that they are. I've taken to collecting Thalmor robes as trophies at this point, and have the execution letter I found on a Justiciar's body displayed on my dining room table as a badge of pride.

The Falmer and their poison weapons of doom. Lower ranked ones aren't all that bad, but one hit from the high leveled ones- frget the name - and I'm running for my life. Same is true for their damn pets, though those are a bit easier to dodge.

The frostbite spiders are the worst for me with the Giant and then the Falmer

The frostbite spiders hit me with my Arachnophobia, to me they look like someone took the scariest parts of a spider, put them all on one body then made it giant. They aren't a problem anymore but I will absolutely go out of my way to end every Frostbite spider within sight. Preferably with a Dual Cast Fireball while yelling "Hadouken".

Giants...After my first encounter (and subsequent joining of the Skyrim Space Program) with the tall gits, I could never bring myself to get upclose and personal with a Giant...And I'm a Mage/Warrior so there goes half my competence.

Falmer. Falmer just get on my nerves. All must die.

Bears have been my most consistently hated enemy, simply because they wouldn't leave me the bloody hell alone. Granted, once I jumped from Epic Elven Armor to Legendary Dragonscale Armor, they don't pose the threat they used to, so my rage against them has since decreased. Mages (especially Ice Mages) are a pain in the ass, but as long as I chug some Resist Frost potions, I can endure them.

Frostbite Spiders just gross me out; I always feel compelled to fight them in third person, but they aren't too tough. As for Chaurus, I've only faced two and that's when I was still wearing leather armor; with how quickly they took me down, I've developed less "hate" and more "fear."

What I truly, utterly hate is none of these things. It is neither giants, dragons, draugr, or even dwarven constructs. It is... well, let me tell you the story. I wish I was taking screenshots back then, because it deserved it. I'm about Level 12 or so and Aela gives me a Companion quest... some pest control; wild animal got in somebody's house and I had to clear it out. What creature and where? Why, Hod and Gerder's tiny little house in Riverwood. Their problem: a fucking Snowy Sabre Cat! Every time I entered that door, I had to dive left to avoid sharing poor Stump's fate. Me, with just leather armor and a slightly improved steel axe, had to take on a beast that could kill me in three blows, all within a cramped arena with nothing to fight behind. It took about fifteen tries, but I finally managed to kill the bastard.

And that's why I fucking hate Snowy Sabre Cats. I feel it is justified.

Yeah, those extermination quests can suck at lower levels, especially with Sabre Cats of any type. Hell, any forced close range fight sucks when you're a ranged specialist. I just pull out Mehrune's Razor and hope the instant death ability triggers.

let my answer by Type of Dungeon:
the one crawling with Falmers and Chaurii. Ugh.

Spiders could possibly be my favourite.

Hagravens; dragon priests; anything that can cast fireball over and over is worth my hate.
