The nuka grenade is ridiculously powerful, I tossed one at a deathclaw the other day, bloodiest death I've ever seen in the game.
Also have to love the bottle-cap mine.

If you really want to just run around an area with a bunch of really strong enemies without fear because you are in fact Tanky McTankerton II then you gotta go with the Rock-it-Launcher. If you dump everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING (except maybe a few medical supplies) you can just cruise around the wasteland chucking whatever you see at your enemies, and killing them very very fast. Who honestly can't love a gun that allows you to kill someone with a teddy bear, in an M rated game of all places?!?

Well, without the Dart Gun, Deathclaws will **** you up almost every time.
I don't get why people are so bothered by Deathclaws. I just kill them until they're dead.

They're pretty damn harmless when compared to my first encounter with them in the original Fallout.
1.Find the difficulty toggle
2.Come back and say that again

I'm partial to the Nuka Grenade, especially with the new perk from Broken Steel, you can make a ton of those awesome grenades if you ignore that chick's quest.

EDIT: I don't have Broken Steel, but an nearly infinite supply of Quantums is a great thing.

I'll admit they're troublesome in pairs or more (on Very Hard), but against a single one I'll easily get away relatively unscathed. (Last one I fought left both me and Charon with about 90% HP left.)

Anywho, I'm just about to clean house in the Deathclaw Sanctuary.

i cant believe the bottlecap mine has been largely ignored. That thing saved me many times in the low levels from huge things i had no real way of killing without using all of my ammo. simple to make too, i could knock off 3 or 4 at a time.
