I've only played Fallout 3, so from what I know the Brotherhood is the best. They are stable(mostly), and are the only driving force behind technology which is the best thing for the wasteland.

It's all bad. I'm throwing out the Independent ending because obviously I think I could do a better job than anyone else :D.

The Capital Wasteland BoS would probably be the best option, but they're obviously not capable of taking over.

The Legion are assholes held together by an old man. They treat women horribly and I can't endorse any group that supports slavery. When Ceasar dies I think the Legion goes downhill fast, most of its member seem to support Ceasar more than his ideals.

The Enclave ar on the decline and they'd be very bad for Ghouls and anyone not radiation free.

The BoS as a whole are xenophobic shut ins who only care about themselves and old techology.

I don't think House realizes just how difficult it'll be to accomplish his goals. He's kinda nuts also, and his goal of putting people in space in 50 years was being insanely generous. Despite his claims otherwise he's also quite vindictive.

Anarchy doesn't work, and never will work. So throw that out.

That leaves the NCR. They're overextended, flawed, and imperialistic. They're also the most likely to build something lasting and not go insane and kill everyone. They win by default.

I think if the NCR adapted the follower of the apocalypse to their government without changing their structure or function that could work
I read on the fallout wiki that you can convince the Followers and NCR to work together and it actually ends very well for both parties in the slide show, but that option when talking to Julie Farkas is glitched and so it can't be done. Still, it shows that the NCR and the Followers can certainly cooperate.

House has a plan and a best chance to regain prewar techological levels and return humanity to it's former glory. NCR brings democracy and equality so it's a question of progress or human rights.

It would have to be some combination of the Followers and the NCR or the Brotherhood if they helped people

Obviously Mr. House is the prime candidate here. He single-handedly restored the New Vegas strip and could very well get the world up and running again. His background as an industrialist/genius also makes him a prime candidate. He also has a legion of robots to keep order and could easily reign in the NCR.

I voted other because I chose the independence ending but it's not really independence for I after chrushing the NCR at hover dam would start a dictatorship rule over new vegas and spread my influence over the world using all the robots and people under my command but I would make fair and resonable laws (so they won't revolt) that would hopefully be what New Vegas as well as the rest of the wasteland needs for salvation for unlike the NCR my guy is not corrupt even though he steals everything cool but they can't prove he took anything.

Independence=Raiders taking your snowglobes. Some towns would manage, but most would be wiped out. Hell, Goodsprings would have gotten it in the beginning of the game if the Courier hadn't been there. Would any other town like that stand a chance without help? Probably not.quote]

As for the raiders you mentioned I already took out their leaders and got the other factions to join me. I fully intend to rule and protect goodsprings as well as the other town's you pass through plus I killed all the commanders in Ceaser's legion that I know of so the only threat left is the NCR. MUHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, this is why caesars legion would be the best choice.

The NCR would be great, if there was a pseudo-government/establishment that didnt work very well. The ideal of the NCR would only really work as a replacement. Caesars legion on the other hand, would be a terrible substitute, but as a banner for the entire waste to join under, it would be the most beneficial for society.

They would see to it that only the strongest and smartest carried on, which is what you want to start a new world order.

In short, Caesars legion is the best for establishing a firm base on which a new society could be built, which would then lend itself better to the NCR. If you tried it any other way it just wouldnt work as well.

But the legion will die with Ceaser. That is the problem, without their, 'god' their society will crumble. Then Arizona which they passified will be returned to the very savages that they went their to destroy, and the NCR will be forced to expand ever eastward to bring peace back to the United States. Democracy has its flaws, don't get me wrong, but NCR is the only hope for peace and individuality in the world after that terrible war.

NCR, as while they're not perfect by any means, they're the ones trying to establish fair government. House could also work in a pinch, though I don't think in the long run by any means.

The others are technology cults (BoS), more humanitarian organization than government (FotA), or simply assholes that, while conquering in the short run, will do themselves in through refusal to accept technology and, well, abusing women and pretty much everyone outside the upper echelons (Legion).

NCR is probably the best of those. They're hardly perfect, but since they're democratic, they have a decent chance of improving their policies over time, plus, even as they are now, they can provide a certain amount of stability once they've firmly established themselves in an area and allow their citizens a workable level of personal rights. The Legion, on the other hand, are just evil, savage, and backward-thinking to the core, with the only thing they have going for them being the stability they'd offer to the few people they didn't murder or enslave. Brotherhood of Steel would probably be even better than NCR, but they're way too isolationist to be of any good. Followers of the Apocalypse are also nice, but they probably wouldn't have the stomach or the resources to provide security and stability. After that, the Enclave is insane, House is too controlling, and anarchy is just terrible for everyone. NCR wins, hands down.

They said that, but it might not be entirely true. Besides, this is about the best for humanity in general rather than in the context of FO New Vegas
The good of humanity in general? How is sexism, disregard for individuality and a culture centered around a man who calls himself 'god' good for humanity in general? Not in the long run it isnt. Democracy and tolerance is the only hope humanity has for peace.
