Also, a comparison is just that, comparing not saying they are the same thing.
Okay... so don't compare people making totally harmless vegetarian jokes to anything even half as serious as the slave trade, I mean really - get over yourself. Interestingly though, you might like the BBC - they just banned making jokes that wet blankets find offensive ;/

On topic - it's all about the Paladin-esque dogged pursuer of right and justice, who then discovers he's been fighting for the wrong side all along. Everyone loves the drama.

I don't really do comicbooks, but last night, through an article on Cracked (I know...) I came to know of Superdog, and how they randomly turned him from a lovable pooch into a killing machine who turns evil, rips out the throat of one of his owners and runs away to serve an evil overlord.

That's just depressing, and upsetting (I don't like seeing evil animals)

The acctually capable villain. The villains who are smart/ powerful who show up from time to time, and actually pose a threat to humanitie's existance. The guy that gives the hero a run for his money.
Daleks, Ganondorf, Sauron... The best kind of villain there is.

Anti hero's are the best (except the emo's ones). Rorschach was one of the most entertaining hero's of all time. He had his goals and he went about achieving them the most efficient way possible.

A hero that is willing to look terrible for his beliefs is a true hero. Stand by your convictions and live uncompromising.

actually i like the comedic heroes that cant do anything right. me and my friend had to make up superheroes for a project at school one year and we came up wit hthe old school heroes wearing the tight spandex and things like that but they were comedic we made verbal abuse man and sexual harrasment women. we actually got A's on the project to. so my vote goes to none of them

Didn't take long to get you to show your true colours did it?
After that outburst, I stand by my original point.

Also, a comparison is just that, comparing not saying they are the same thing.
My true colours of what? Thinking that this issue is pointless? Vegetarians are more than entitled to their right to eat, or not eat, what they will. Everyone is. People making harmless comments intended as jokes, to the effect that vegetarians should be force-fed meat, is also well within their rights. It is because it is intended as a joke! Clearly, you just can't take a joke, or don't want to.

Also, I understand what a comparison is. It seems you don't.

From Dictionary.com

1. to examine (two or more objects, ideas, people, etc.) in order to note similarities and differences: to compare two pieces of cloth; to compare the governments of two nations.
2. to consider or describe as similar; liken: Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
A comparison points out the similarities. It can be used to point out differences, but saying that making fun of vegetarians being force-fed to eat meat is like making fun of blacks in slavery is not pointing out differences. Now please, let this issue die; I made my initial comments as a joke, but you clearly did not get it.
