Zombies - again, commonly viewed as incredibly dumb decaying reanimated corpses or mutated humans/beings who rely mainly on numbers and disease/nanobots/dark magics. And physical strength combined with you know, the whole dead, brainless and feels no pain thing.

Do you forget the Left4Dead zombies? There are a great many varieties of zombies.

The classic shamblers that slowly limp/crawl/walk and overwhelm you by sheer numbers and time. Generally these are the stereotypical zombies that want brains.

The normal zombies that can still run, they are just undead.

The fast zombies that have mutated to become better killers.

Extremely mutated zombies, the countless versions of the undead that will hunt you down and rip you into a mass of sinews and clotting blood.

On the basis that they're the only item on the list that's real, I'll vote for mummies. Though you should probably be made aware that they don't get up and move around and they certainly don't chase people, they just lay there being very dead.

Yeah, better for what? Zombies, personally. As in, they're better, in the long run, of causing mass horror and really fucking up the world and civilization.
