Poll: Which Space Marine Do you like?

I don't like any Space Marines, they're all made out to be Alpha-Male brick warriors. Like honestly, nothing can hurt them, and the only reason they die is because of player-stupidity. I play Halo because I like killing aliens, I don't feel any attachment to the protaganist simply because he has no emotion what-so-ever. Faceless, generic trash. I feel more of a connection with the Arbiter, and he isn't even human.

Gears of War did the same thing, apart from whiney Dom moaning about his wife.

So, by the process of elimination... Hicks and Vasquez (and the rest of that team) are the best space marines?

Warhammer 40k marines, no doubt about. Even Blizz admited they were inspired by the 40K marines, also the Emperor's Super-soldier have the grand advantage of being the first Space marines to appear in a game per say and are the standard inspirations for most games that imply troopers in space with big guns.

I'd have to say the new Terran Marines (Starcraft) due to sheer mechanical joy (that's of course from the SC 2 terran trailer). But if we're talking about the first starcraft, then I'm going with the Black Templars Chapter.

Yes! The best chapter. Obviously.

As for me, Black Templars and 40K.

Master Chief wiped out an Alien Armada.
Doomguy wiped out AN ENTIRE DIMENSION.
Plus, Doomguy doesn't regenerate health 5 seconds after it's lost.
