Poll: Which weapon would you choose?

I like asking these questions, so i'm going to ask more.

What weapon would you choose to be at your side, during ANY endeavour in ANY game world?

Let's face it, sure, you could take over the world using the Half-Life crowbar. But i'm sure that not all of you would want to take over the world. What use would it be for the Minecraft Player, because, despite the crow bar being handy, the man needs a pick. What good is Umbra to Mario. What good is the Portal Gun to Isaac? Hell, what good is the Halo Pistol to FARMVILLE??? (That may be a bit over the top, but whatever).

What weapon would you choose for, hey, even the game you're playing right now. I just finished playing Mass Effect 3, and would have LOVED to have a Fat Man. Currently playing Minecraft, and I want a god damn wrench! Also, the Plasma Cutter would have been a nice touch in Eye: Divine Cybermancy!

From that selection, the pistol from Halo. I got pretty good with that in game, and technically I would still be in game.

But given the choice, something from Space Marine. I don't know, either bolt pistol or power sword. Does it really matter what you take from there, gets the job done.

I can think of a lot more game worlds where I'd need an OTT weapon than to be all peaceful and cuddly.

The pistol is only good for killing things and requires a supply of ammo.
The crowbar is just a crowbar. I can get one anywhere.
The plasma cutter could actually be useful as something other than a weapon, but it still needs ammo.
The Fat Man is way to indiscriminate and I doubt I'd even be able to carry it.

The portal gun doesn't work on any surface not smeared with moon dust.

I think the Portal gun, because cursed swords are a: cursed, and b: I don't know how to fight with swords if my enemies have guns (or swords), and portable nukes seem a bit...overcompensatiing. For the rest, they are guns that need ammo, and I can use the portal gun for other things than killing.

Portal gun, assuming it would work in our universe without moon paint or whatever.
Also I'd need the funky momentum cancelling boots so i don't die every time i fall through a portal.

Wait wait wait, the Portal gun only works on very specific surfaces, making it essentially useless in almost all game worlds. The plasma cutter on the other hand.....

I've got three wrenches in MineCraft. They don't make for good weapons tho.
Even though I love Cyber-punky stuff, I could never get over EYE's maps. They look like some of the creations you'd find in some of the earliest Half-Life mods. Can't believe I payed for that crap!

On topic... Plasma Cutter I bought nothing else my first run of Dead Space. It's offensive, unlike the portal gun... And I can't be caught in the blast, unlike the mini-nukes the Fat Man fires.

If I could choose ANY Weapon from ANY Game to always and forever be by my side in every game? This is still a difficult choice but Killing Floor's SCARMK17 [http://kf-wiki.com/wiki/SCARMK17] would be my choice. It's extremely versatile, and only limited by it's small magazine size. It's very effective up close, and far away, and the mags are physically small too, so I can carry a healthy amount of ammunition. No point in bringing it though, if I can't look down the scope, and switch between semi-and full auto.

It's a .998 assault rifle. The bolts it fires are self-propelled, exploding, tank-piercing. Could you ask for anything else?

I'd have to say the portal gun. It doesn't need ammo, and has any number of practical uses. It would also be handy enough as a weapon

A hotshot lasgun, for when you absolutely, positively need to kill every ************ in the galaxy.
Can cut through any armor? Check!
Plenty of ammo? It uses powercells, check!
Maintenance? If trained, it's easy, check!
Rate of fire? Don't make me blush, check!
Damage caused? Lasguns used on humans sear off limbs in instant, check!

Perfection? Check.
