While I'm looking at responses to threads, every time I see somebody banned or suspended I check to see the post that they were suspended for. Generally it's quite amusing but I was wondering...do most escapists do this?

Edit: I know a lot of you hate "Am I the only one?" threads. Please refrain from hate comments(unless you think you'll get banned, then I guess that irony is up to you)
Often times I disagree with the probation, but then most of the time they aren't contributing to the thread either, so while its not necessarily offensive or anything it might just be useless.

Yes. Every time. I take a lot of pleasure in reading comments that attract the banhammer and the punishments that were doled out. Hell, one of my least favourite things on this site is going to find out why a certain member got suspended or banned and running face-first into a 404. Or that the quote was "First". Firsties suck.

I make a game out of it. I find someone who has been banned or suspended, go to that thread and find a user that has been banned or suspended for a different thread and see how long I can go with that

Everytime, mainly because I worry that I might post something similar.

And because you never know when the mods might go power hungry.

I usually do so to see if they deserved it. Also, for the purposes of my own entertainment.
That's kind of..
...condescending.
I assure you I keep up no pretence of kindness whatsoever when checking these posts.

Are you sure you used the right word sir?

Now that's condescending.

Everytime I see a Probation, Suspension or Ban, I'm clicking that link.
It's like a car-crash, you shouldn't really look. But the promised potential of blood and dismembered limbs is too strong to ignore.
