easily the worst comedian i've ever seen was Jack Dee. he's jus not funny. he's sounds like a bitter old man having a moan, and he's just not funny at it, unlike someone like Franky Boyle

I wouldn't say he's the worst, but you do just want to punch him and tell him to cheer up.

Anyway, considering they're all American comedians (I'm assuming) I guess most of them are the worst - American comedy is so ham-fisted.

certainly by our standards. i tried to show one some Bill Bailey (Part Troll as it happens), and she just didn't get it. laughed at all the wrong bits, and thought i was strange for laughing at the actualy funny bits

Worst comedian is either Carlos Mencia or Bob Saget (he tries to be funny by using over-excessive swearing, but it's just obnoxious).

My favourites are Russel Peters and Dane Cook (I find him funny, I don't know why).

Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Dunham are good too.

I can understand not liking Dane, but COME ON!!! Half the people who "hate" Dane don't hate him because they don't find him funny. They hate him because he's popular even though they don't get the humor. "How is this possible?! WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS GUY??? HE SUCKS!"

It's all about lashing back at his popularity. Where's the logic in hating ANYTHING because of the level of popularity associated with it? It shows a resentment towards other people. A resentment probably motivated by selfish reasons.

Halo is a good example of this kind of lash back in action.

Not finding him funny is the same thing as not getting the humour. You realise that right?

And trust me, this isn't a troll post. He came to our college to do a live stand-up show, so a bunch of friends and I decided to go. In short, it was basically one hour of him standing in front of a whiteboard and making lame one-sentence jokes about the stuff he drew on it. It was extremely disappointing.

To be fair, he was kinda funny, but not really funny enough to be considered a fully-fledged comedian.

You are implying that you are a "above" this kind of comedy. And if you are "above" finding this funny, what does that say about your view of the people who like it?

I'm not even really talking about Dane. I'm talking about hating someone or hating what they do. It's overboard and a waste of energy.
