Everyone on that list sucks, especially Larry the Inbred Fuckwit and the Puppet Fister.

There are many bad comedians of course. So many that I don't bother to learn their names.

The one guy I actually HATE is George Lopez. If his set was reversed from a white point of view he'd be performing at Nazi marches and Klan meetings, but since he's Mexican nobody tells him to shut the fuck up. Fucking racist ****. Even more infuriating to me is how he generalizes white people. Apparently we're all pussies with a stupid valley girl speech pattern from California. I beg to differ. Also, don't demonize white people then go on to have an orgasm speaking Spanish (a white European, Latin based language) to your crowd. I guess we're all bad guys except for your beloved Spaniards, who raped your women, committed genocide against your ancestors, and obliterated your native culture. I'd love to ask this Wonder Mexican if he even knows what Nahuatl is, being that he called white people (specifically English colonists, who had nothing to do with Central America) illegal immigrants. His set consists of talking about stuff he did as a kid with the odd line in Spanish followed by a fart noise. AWESOME WORK GEORGE. Lol... farts.

Don't accuse us all of being racist when you're being a fucking racist. Either everyone stops or it isn't ok.

I am intellectually superior to the people who like Dane Cook. Yes. And the fans of Larry the Cable Guy. And even people who still watch South Park. We're all guilty of our own, well, guilty pleasures, but if you read through the last couple pages of this thread Mr. Cook's suckitude is well catalogued.

The popularity of comics like this, paired with the relative obscurity of some of those from whom they steal, is indicative of the same phenomenon as most every game developer substantially dialing down the challenge of their games...intellectuals are not breeding on a level consummate with the idiots of the world. For more on this, see the first 10 minutes of the movie Idiocracy. And then turn the movie off and throw it away.

I also think I'm smarter than people who thought Transformers 2 was awesome, and morally superior to Nazis. And trust me, none of this makes me an elitist. I don't think I'm BETTER than anyone, per se, I'm just smarter and have more taste :)

I don't get the hate towards Jeff Dunham. He's simply a great comedian. To those who have never been to his shows live, here's a shocker for you: HE DOES HIS OWN BIT TOO. He doesn't have the puppets out there right from the get-go, he usually takes the first 15 minutes or so to tell his own stories, and they're some of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Then there's the puppets themselves. They're stereotypes, some of them. However, you've missed the point entirely: They're SUPPOSED to be stereotypes, they are charicatures of different types of people, among them a terrorist, a redneck, and a... Polynesian purple monkey. Speaking of Achmed, I am sick and tired of people complaining about him. In fact, I don't even have the patience to defend him against you people, so I'm going to explain myself with this image:

I have feeling of utter terror and i just wanna puke when i think of L.T.C.G as a comedian. The acronym would suggest he's more of a disease.

Andy Parsons.

I actually stop laughing when he tells a "joke".
seconded
its embarrassing for him after he takes like 20 minutes to get into the joke and the punchline is just not funny.....

Rowan Atkinson did an HBO special a dozen or so years ago that is hilarious, and I love "The Curse Of Fatal Death" sketch he did for comic relief.

That guy who totally rips off Bill Hick's material and image. I cant remember his name, but watching him massacre Hick's jokes and ideas is painful to me...
His name is Denis Leary. And yeah, he's a big ol' thief.
Thats the bastard. Thanks for refreshing my memory. :)

Definatly Jeff Dunham. He rides and stretches out the same old jokes over and over. Like seriously, can he go throught an Achmed act without saying "I Kill You"? I understand this is somewhat of a "trademark" for his character, but seriously, does he need to drive it into the ground?

I've only seen one of those listed do stand up, (Dane Cook,) and I had to stop watching after five minutes. He was dying and even the pity laughs sounded forced, it was simply too embarrassing to watch.

Demetri Martin.

And trust me, this isn't a troll post. He came to our college to do a live stand-up show, so a bunch of friends and I decided to go. In short, it was basically one hour of him standing in front of a whiteboard and making lame one-sentence jokes about the stuff he drew on it. It was extremely disappointing.

To be fair, he was kinda funny, but not really funny enough to be considered a fully-fledged comedian.
.... But... I really like him.... Are you saying he actually isn't funny? :(
Yeah.

....

I'm not even trying to be mean here. He's just....bad....

Don't waste your money. Sorry.

Best comedians...quite a few. Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, Stephen Fry, Lee Evans, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand and the great Billy Conolly.
No, no, and a million times no.
You're kidding, right?

Both Brand & Fielding do have a style of humour that can be an aquired taste, but they are spontaneous, and very very sharp! If all you know of Brand is the MTV awards & Forgetting Sarah Marshall, & all you know of Fielding is the Mighty Boosh, you're missing out! Brand's Radio 2 show was easily the best thing on the radio at one point. It was unscripted & unrehearsed, but it was one of the only things to consistently make me laugh so much my abdomen would hurt.

Horses for courses, I suppose....
