He has a good show, makes good points, but let's be honest.
Whatever he wrote can't top books like the Similarion or the Dark Tower series.
There are so many books I've yet to read so I'm not going to buy his book.
Wait, so you don't buy books because they're not better than the best sellers each time?

Wait, you expected his first published novel to be a best seller?

Wait, you're comparing his books to fantasy drama books?

I feel like I've got my head stuck in a revolving door of stupid. Thud, thud, thud...

Seriously though, if it comes out over here I may pick it up. Extra Punctuation is pretty amusing, so I figure this could be worth a read.

Quoted the wrong dude, dude. I did that once! No, I'm buying the book; even pre-ordered it on Amazon.

*Thud, thud, thud* lol.

I'll buy, but not without knowing what the book is about. The story must be interesting, i won't read it if it just a mediocre plot and predictable character. Anyone know the premise of it?
All I've heard is that it's about the life of NPCs. So er.. I guess the main characters will be NPCs.
What about Sark and the gaming grid? Seriously, i want to know what i buy before i buy it. For example, i follow a mp3 adventure online about a group of the worst adventurers ever only known by their own class trying to get rich but end up in so much trouble that funny. They did a book in the hiatus after season 2 and the book pick up there. I knew the character, the setting, a bit of what's going to happen (thank to the cliffhanger ending of season 2). As for Yahtzee, i won't buy it as long as i don't know what it is. I don't care if it a NPC story. I want to be clear what it is and the cover isn't promising. If it another story about NPC coming out of the game and making comment about our world. COUNT ME OUT!!!!!!!

Found the description on Amazon.com

In a world full to bursting with would-be heroes, Jim couldn't be less interested in saving the day. His fireballs fizzle. He's awfully grumpy. Plus, he's been dead for about sixty years. When a renegade necromancer wrenches him from eternal slumber and into a world gone terribly, bizarrely wrong, all Jim wants is to find a way to die properly, once and for all. On his side, he's got a few shambling corpses, an inept thief, and a powerful death wish. But he's up against tough odds: angry mobs of adventurers, a body falling apart at the seams - and a team of programmers racing a deadline to hammer out the last few bugs in their AI.

Seem ok... And cheap. it a 350 page novel. I'll wait till i ear about it.

It would be improper of me to purchase a novel written by a professional game critic known for grilling game properties for a living without allowing a professional literary critic to grill Yahtzee's book nice an' proper first.

I like Yahtzee, but I think i'll wait a bit. I've got alot of unread books in my room I need to take care of before I look at anything else at the moment.

I had always wondered about this book. Maybe when I have some extra cash I'll buy it.

Hah. I'll do what I always do: If it's in my local bookstore, I'll sit in a big comfy chair, buy a coffee and a sandwich, and read it. If I deem it good, I'll buy it and give it to a friend or I'll reread it later. If not, no loss. At least I got to relax for a bit.

Pre-ordered it yesterday.

As anybody who's read his Animal Crossing review will know, he has a nice feel for compelling and scary adrenaline.
I'm sure it won't be at the level ofDouglas Adams or Terry Pratchet, but I honestly think it'll be a good read.

Your comparing him to pretty high bar there.

Yeah, I've pre-ordered, now, to finish reading some of those Disc World novels that I've half read...

I love reading. I love zeropunctuation. Croshaw is Ok. Bought the book the second I saw in his Splinter Cell review that he was promoting it. To hell with it, if the book's bad then I read another book. If it's great then I get to read a great book. Either way I'm letting the world know that, with my $7.99, I want Ben Croshaw to get ahead in this world. If there is any one individual that I trust with whatever portion of that $7.99 he is actually going to get, it's our fedora wearing Brit/Aus. You are a funny s.o.b. sir, here's my vote, you're the best. Now get back on the grind and make me another video for next week or my short American attention span will whither away like so many childrens' dreams. *whipcrackingsoundovertheinterweb*

Already pre-ordered it. Not only do I devour books like it's the next fad-diet, but if it winds up sucking--Oh well! I supported Yahtzee and Amazon! Yay!
