I'm doing absolutely nothing, no work, no school since it's saturday and just sitting here, listening to the Scrubs theme, watching TV series and talking to people on MSn, Skype and here.

Because it's the weekend. That's why I'm not working. Also, because it's hard to teach outdoor activities like sailing, climbing, canoeing and kayaking when you're on crutches. Dammit!! I'm bored of being broken now!!!!!!

I'm so out of touch with things, I didn't even realise it was the weekend. My life needs structure...

Got a party to go to tonight, then results on Tuesday. Been pretty lazy to be honest; it's hard to know what to do for 8 or so weeks.
You getting your GCSEs too? Good luck!

I'm bricking them about my results so to keep my mind off them, I'm watching House Season 5 at a rate of 6 episodes per day mixed between gaming to stop anxiety.

And the get a girlfriend poll option, OP? I did just that this morning. I told my good friend of my feelings for her, and she actually felt the same way! I was mistaking shyness for dislike..

So, THANK YOU ESCAPIST USERS FOR GIVING ME COURAGE!

Still getting up at noon every morning but I've applied for two jobs so hopefully once all the uni students go away there'll be a job void.

That's my whole summer summed up. Go me!

I have Prelims going on. And yet I'm still...doing anything else other than studying. Hm. This worries me.

I have nothing to do until the colleges start sending out offers. This starts on Monday, but it can go on as long as October. I can't get a job, because there's no jobs around here, so I have to wait until I find which college I'm going to.
Word for word. It can go on as long as October, though? Or is that just the Appeal process?

I should be working on a project, but I'm posting here and playing Kane's Wrath and waiting for an email.

Yep, it's around late September they start posting vacancies.
Oy vey. Does that mean there's no chance of being offered a pity-place on Monday at all?

Yay!!! Congrats stranger, you have a girlfriend!!! You get +1 life. And don't worrie about your GCSE's, they're a breeze compared to A levels. I'm sure you'll do fine.

Thank you! It seems less of +1 life and more like I'm on ecstasy..

Just checked your profile, you're 17? How did your A-Levels go? Most of them around here were good though there were very few A*s.

Monday's the first round, so no.

Best to wait until they start posting vacancies. From what I hear, vacancies don't rely on your points, they rely on you meeting the entry requirements, and an interview or similar.
I got a lot more points than I needed, but not the requirements. Screw..

Hmm, there's no "get a boyfriend" option, tsk tsk. (Don't mind me, I just happened to notice that :p )

Well I did quite well in my Art, got an A. Physics was a respectable B/C. And Maths was terrible. Dropping it next year and doing a full History of Art A-level. But I was lazy last year, must work harder this time round. XD
