No it's not, at all really. On Ponychan any even midly sexual image (i.e a kiss) has to put in spoiler tags or it will be removed.

People who are into MLP for sexual reasons are a vanishingly small minority.
Making it so one extra click is neccessary before viewing pornographic images of ponies stops it from being another branch of furry? Hmm.

I'm sure not all furries are in it for the sexually explicit images either (probably a great minority), but I guess bronies dont like being labeled alongside a less acceptable group..

I'm sure there will be a great outcry of denial, but hey, at least you can feel persecuted together.
Due to being Asexual your opinion annoys me, but I'm sure there are some MLP fans who see the show in a sexual way even if I can't really understand it, so you know whatever.

yeah, Lorem Ipsum is basically randomly-generated latin.
It's not really randomly-generated, but it's definitely heavily altered from the original source [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum#History_and_discovery]:

The text is derived from sections 1.10.32-3 of Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum (On the Boundaries of Goods and Evils, or alternatively [About] The Purposes of Good and Evil). The original passage began: Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit (Translation: "Neither is there anyone who loves grief itself, since it is grief, and thus wants to obtain it").

No I've not seen the denial thing among the Brony fandom either, but it won't surprise me in the slightest if and when it does. And don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the fuckwad Star Wars fans that insist that the prequel trilogy never happened, or the fuckwad Indiana Jones fans that insist that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull never happened.
Heh. You could say that's happened in the Brony fandom, since most of us sort of just don't really give a shit about the first three generations, but I don't see how that's a bad thing. I do that with Star Wars and Indiana Jones too, I hate the prequels and Crystal Skull and I ignore them because of that. So, I guess I only like certain Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies, not because I'm a fan, but because those are the ones that are actually good ... Actually, I don't see how rejecting some films of a series and not others based on how good they are is fanboyism at all, it just seems to be proper response for anyone to have. You like the stuff that's good, you don't like the stuff that's bad. On the other hand, a Star Wars fan that insists the prequels are fantastic simply for the fact that it's Star Wars is just as bad as a weeaboo, who insists Japanese things are the best because they're from Japan.

Besides, if you recall my original post I said don't hate Bronies, at least not anymore than I hate the fans of anything else. In other words I don't care that you're into My Little Pony. What ever it is that you happened to be into is irrelevant, it's fandom in general that irritates me.
I know. I'm not talking about Bronies specifically either, I was trying to understand your viewpoint with respect to fandoms in general. I thought that was plain but I guess not.

How this whole thing started. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Little_Pony:_Friendship_Is_Magic#Internet_following]

`The response from the Internet is traced to cartoon and animation fans on the Internet board 4chan, responding to Cartoon Brew's Amidi's negative essay on the show and state of current animation trends.[20] The members of the cartoon "/co/" board of 4chan, having not yet seen the show, considered the alarmist nature of the essay and began watching the show, and quickly warmed up to the series for plot, characters, and animation style.'

Well that's not quite the same thing since the... wait a minute, three generations??? o_O I'm only aware of 2, the old one from way back in the 80's and this new incarnation that everyone's obsessed with. What one am I missing? Actually, on second thought I don't care.
Anyway, as I was saying, that's not quite the same thing since the generations of MLP are generally unrelated to each other as far as continuity and canon go. So being a fan of one generation doesn't require the acknowledgment of any of the other ones. Although blatantly saying that they don't exist wouldn't sound any less fucking retarded unless you genuinely didn't know about them.
As far as Star Wars and Indiana Jones go however, well I personally didn't mind the prequel trilogy or Indy4, but that's beside the point. The fact of the matter is to devote yourself to a series or franchise means taking the good with the bad, not arbitrarily deciding what parts you like and pretending the rest doesn't exist like some extremely spoiled retarded brat! Look at me for example, I love the Dragon Ball mythos, even Dragon Ball GT; but I'll say right now I hate the Super Saiyan 4 transformation. I hate the way it was achieved, I hate how it looks, and I generally hate everything about it. However do I close off and pretend it doesn't exist? NO! No, because that would be fucking stupid! Not to mention bloody immature.

Rather than stir up more hatred, we should just let bygones be bygones and love and tolerate the shit out of them. No more forcing ponies down their throats, no more saying people are stupid for liking or hating things, we just need to rise above it and don't feed the trolls. If people wanna hate, ignore them. Giving them a thread like this to hate in only makes things worse if you ask me.

I know this seems obvious, but since we still seem to be having a problem with this we have not really learned our lesson. There is nothing wrong with having pony threads here, but maybe we should consider keeping them to a slightly smaller number? There are other, more pony-centric, forums we could post some of this stuff on guys. There we wont have to worry about trolls and haters. I love the Escapist, but personally I don't think it is the best place for Bronies at the moment.

I don't understand the obsession, nor has any fan adequately explained it to me. This leads me to believe that 8/10 people are just jumping on the bandwagon for the lulz. But I do not hate them.

I've never seen the show, and whilst I hate the people who ram it in my face as if it is the greatest TV show since Being Human, I hate fans of every kind who force their object of affection down my throat.
I agree and however have seen the show. I use to watch it as a child all the time. Now, nostalgia kills it. Personally I hate the fact that just about everyone I know shoves it down my throat. Seriously. I get picture messages on my cell phone of ponies. *sighs* I don't hate them, I hate it shoved down my throat.

Brony for life, and if they want my man card they can pry it from my cold dead hands.

And I love the show on its own merits, but it is pretty fun to lampoon and meme the hell out of it too; I do the same with Thomas the Tank Engine and Thunderbirds.
well Thomas the tank engine is pretty bloody badarse, I used to love that show XD
I have some videos actually.
