Due to being Asexual your opinion annoys me, but I'm sure there are some MLP fans who see the show in a sexual way even if I can't really understand it, so you know whatever.flaming_squirrel said:Making it so one extra click is neccessary before viewing pornographic images of ponies stops it from being another branch of furry? Hmm.stefanbertramlee said:No it's not, at all really. On Ponychan any even midly sexual image (i.e a kiss) has to put in spoiler tags or it will be removed.
People who are into MLP for sexual reasons are a vanishingly small minority.
I'm sure not all furries are in it for the sexually explicit images either (probably a great minority), but I guess bronies dont like being labeled alongside a less acceptable group..
I'm sure there will be a great outcry of denial, but hey, at least you can feel persecuted together.
It's not really randomly-generated, but it's definitely heavily altered from the original source [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum#History_and_discovery]:Loop Stricken said:yeah, Lorem Ipsum is basically randomly-generated latin.
The text is derived from sections 1.10.32-3 of Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum (On the Boundaries of Goods and Evils, or alternatively [About] The Purposes of Good and Evil). The original passage began: Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit (Translation: "Neither is there anyone who loves grief itself, since it is grief, and thus wants to obtain it").
Heh. You could say that's happened in the Brony fandom, since most of us sort of just don't really give a shit about the first three generations, but I don't see how that's a bad thing. I do that with Star Wars and Indiana Jones too, I hate the prequels and Crystal Skull and I ignore them because of that. So, I guess I only like certain Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies, not because I'm a fan, but because those are the ones that are actually good ... Actually, I don't see how rejecting some films of a series and not others based on how good they are is fanboyism at all, it just seems to be proper response for anyone to have. You like the stuff that's good, you don't like the stuff that's bad. On the other hand, a Star Wars fan that insists the prequels are fantastic simply for the fact that it's Star Wars is just as bad as a weeaboo, who insists Japanese things are the best because they're from Japan.canadamus_prime said:No I've not seen the denial thing among the Brony fandom either, but it won't surprise me in the slightest if and when it does. And don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the fuckwad Star Wars fans that insist that the prequel trilogy never happened, or the fuckwad Indiana Jones fans that insist that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull never happened.
I know. I'm not talking about Bronies specifically either, I was trying to understand your viewpoint with respect to fandoms in general. I thought that was plain but I guess not.canadamus_prime said:Besides, if you recall my original post I said don't hate Bronies, at least not anymore than I hate the fans of anything else. In other words I don't care that you're into My Little Pony. What ever it is that you happened to be into is irrelevant, it's fandom in general that irritates me.
How this whole thing started. Well that's not quite the same thing since the... wait a minute, three generations???DarthFennec said:Heh. I agree and however have seen the show. I use to watch it as a child all the time. Now, nostalgia kills it. Personally I hate the fact that just about everyone I know shoves it down my throat. Seriously. I get picture messages on my cell phone of ponies. *sighs* I don't hate them, I hate it shoved down my throat.Mackheath said:I don't understand the obsession, nor has any fan adequately explained it to me. This leads me to believe that 8/10 people are just jumping on the bandwagon for the lulz. But I do not hate them.
I've never seen the show, and whilst I hate the people who ram it in my face as if it is the greatest TV show since Being Human, I hate fans of every kind who force their object of affection down my throat.
well Thomas the tank engine is pretty bloody badarse, I used to love that show XDGordon_4 said:Brony for life, and if they want my man card they can pry it from my cold dead hands.
And I love the show on its own merits, but it is pretty fun to lampoon and meme the hell out of it too; I do the same with Thomas the Tank Engine and Thunderbirds.
