I have no idea, Mass Effect 3 isn't out yet.

That's seriously the only answer. The question these people are answering to are "What are your expectations of Mass Effect 3?"

Untrue.

I expect it to equal my expectations.

And that, sir, is your expectation. You're not answering "Will ME3 live up to your expection?", you're answering "What is your expectation of ME3?"

It's not my fault 'Will ME3 live up to your expectation?' is a tautology.

No it is not your fault, yet I'm willing to do this dance until the end of time if you so wish! I'm getting a bit too poetic for my own good.

Regardless, the question is solved mathematically.

Well I enjoyed both ME1 and ME2 so I have no real reason to think I wont enjoy ME3. I'll try not to get carried away with expectations otherwise I'll run the risk of having unrealistic expectations of the game and then I'll be disappointed regardless of how good it may or may not be.

Yeah, that's kind of the attitude I am taking. I don't think it will be bad but like Portal 2 after Portal, it might be not quite good enough.

It's entirely subjective to the expectations you have for it. I think it's going to be a great game and a lot of fun but I don't think it's going to be the greatest game ever released. Too many Bioware fans seem to play their games with that exact expectation.

Go in expecting the greatest game you've ever played will always lead to disappointment. Going in to play a game and have fun and you'll have a much better experience.
