The freshmen at my school are really into "The game" now, because one of my friends brought it up, and told a freshmen. Who in turn, told his friends who told theirs, et cetera. So i'm not really suprised about the cake being a lie still being relevant.

They did say that they're as sick of cake jokes as most of us are, and that there will not be any in Portal 2. I just hope they stick to that, because I really have had enough of that cake thing to last a lifetime.

Do people really think...this meme was ever funny? It was a bit of clever, hidden writing in the game that serves as foreshadowing, but it was never funny. That one room with the pictures of the companion cube pasted on people's faces, and the other rants written on the walls were funny. But the whole "the cake is a lie" thing? Never found that funny.
