Poll: will you be buying dragon age 2?

I really dont know. Its either Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2. Its a really tough choice. Guess i'll make my decision soon. I will buy Dragon Age 2 sometime, just dont know when I will

it's a no-brainer for me XD
I'm a sucker for RPG's and when I came across theirs RPG's some time ago I jumped onto the Bioware Wagon XD.
I personally love the gameplay changes and even then it's so small. It feels different as the actions and attacks are more moving and awesome rather than the "sword shuffle" or the "Staff Poke"
Not to sure about the ME2 style conversation wheel but I'll find out sooner or later.
Wish I pre=ordered for the signiture edition T_T

It's the very beginning of the game and a later quest when you pick up a party character called Isabella. The first part is probably taken straight from the game with Hawke and his Family fleeing Lothering, I would say mild spoilers. The second part really it bypasses most of the story just telling you enough to figure what is happening. If you really want to go in 100% blank that's fine but I really don't think the demo will harm any real story.OniaPL said:

But yeah, once i get a job and/or the price goes down I'll pick it up and sacrifice everything going on in my life.

Preordered signature edition when I first saw it advertised in the UK. Played through DA;O way too many times, and DA;O;A several times. Can't wait.
I loved DA:O, so much so that I sold my copy and bought the Ultimate edition and started a second playthrough. I preordered the Dragon Age 2 Bioware Signature Edition, really looking forward to it.
Sort of no, it depends on how you define a spoiler. There's an early-game death, but that's literally in the first five minutes or so. Other than that, this is before/during the events of DA:O so I guess it could spoil that OH NO WE LOST AT OSTAGAR.OniaPL said:
I don't think they went all the way in Mass Effecting it, it plays a lot like the original on the PC, save for the dialogue wheel. Even the dialogue wheel isn't that bad. Up is friendly and down is hostile, with icons describing the tone of your lines. Overall it's good, though I miss the old BG2-style dialogue trees (such is the price of progress).
Mind you, the demo doesn't let you use full DX11 options, the inventory or change your character's design (to keep down the filesize, I am told).

I played the demo on the PC. I didn't like the fact there was no official controller support, so I won't be buying it. I just got Assassin's Creed 2 for my PC instead.
Based off my experience with DA:O, I didn't think I'd play it if I was paid to, much less pay for it.
That said, after the demo my opinion changed a bit. Considering that the story sounds like it could be infinitely more interesting than the awful joke that was DA:O(dividing by zero, amirite), and the whole thing was a lot more streamlined. Also the combat doesn't look like the I hit you for 5 damage, you hit me for 2 damage, i hit you for 3 damage, you hit me for 3 damage, boring stiff bs that shouldn't have been flying since 2005.
It's still not good enough of a game for me to do a day one purchase, or to even purhase the vanilla game. I'll probably buy the "complete" version of the game at full price, provided that user reviews show it in a favorable light after removing the 10/10s and the lowest score given from the mix.
