Yeah, probably this. I have this same rule with Halo: Reach. The first comment here rubbed me up the wrong way:Firoth said:I would only buy it if Yahtzee gave it some sort of epic praise. And I'm not trying to say that I'm some mindless wallet that buys what people say is good, (If you know Yahtzee at all, you know that he praises almost nothing, let alone epic praise) I'm trying to demonstrate the level of awesome this game would need to achieve (and the futility of trying to garner that achievement) in order to get me to care about it.
So, I voted 'No.'
Sorry to say but its already been reported that DLC will be in the game. And I agree that DLC is one of those things that is plaguing this industry.I am Omega said:Depends. If it stays in the spirit of Duke Nukem (over the top, humorous), sure, I'll wait for the price to drop.
But if ANY of the following terms are brought up between now and release:
- New, mature, sreious Duke Nukem
- Cover System
- Only two weapons
- Story (and they're taking it seriously)
- RPG Elements (I'm willing to be lenient on this, however)
- Realistic
- DLC (Personal bias here)
if ANY of these are mentioned... KILL IT WITH FIRE!
Who needs self-respect when you can have the Duke?Generic Gamer said:I don't think I could really have this in my collection and still respect myself as an adult.
