You get an install back when you uninstall. It's in the OP.
And you're limited to 3 PC's. Nobody knows exactly what is meant by this as, technically, putting in a new HD makes it a different PC. Since this has been the case with other DRM's in the past, there's a major issue. If upgrading my PC means that I will be counted against this, then there might as well only be 3 total installs as I usually have a parts failure once every 8 months.

In other words, they are indirectly dictating upgrades to your PC.
You get an install back when you unistall. So uninstall it before you upgrade...
Wait... so, your saying if, for example, I upgrade my graphics card, I should have to uninstall everything with DRM from my hard-disk?! And then take the 20 minutes to reinstall everything? And this isn't inconvienting the customer, no-no.

Not buying it, not now, not ever.
Seconded.
Since I hated FarCry before the end of the first level, I highly doubt I'll ever give a damn...

You fail at logic.
No, you "fail at logic". Why else wouldn't you bother to spend the time it takes to marshal an actual cogent argument instead of parrotting the dumb one line catchphrase meme you learned on the internets?

Pain in the arse? Yes, definitely. You know what I think is going to be a bigger pain in the arse? Having to play FPS games with a gamepad when publishers give up on the PC platform because of piracy and knee jerk rejection of every anti-piracy scheme. That's going to suck much worse.

Africa + having a chance to experience the true slaughter on home turf, works for me. Now i just have to pretend they are the rasists in our government i will truly have a ball. As for the DRM protection system it's what you get for someone else's ignorant behaviour.

Too much piracy will eventually lead to this the same way one has to be stripped search at airports like a criminal. It sucks but has to be done and i am not for it, believe me. It is however the result of someone else who thought he could take a short cut but forgot about how many other's enjoy the scenic route. They are also the result of more games getting pulled from pc for console.

Hold on a second. Far Cry 2 is set in Africa? Does it have black people in it?

IT DOES!

We all know what that means.

And if your pc crashes and you need to reformat?
Pray tell how would i be able to properly uninstall it?

Just did. Go ahead and deconstruct it.
Amusing. So you post the assertion that I fail at logic first, and then post the argument that I fail at logic when I call you out on it. Which is ironic, because logically the argument should proceed the conclusion, and therefore you still fail at logic.

Now, how often does your computer crash so bad you have to just plain reformat? That has happened once to me in about 10+ years of PC gaming. So for it to happen five times, I'd estimate ~50 years. I'm going to go ahead and say that's not really a big issue for me. Compared to the lifespan of CD's, DVD's or even entire consoles, it's not really unreasonable.

I don't know man, thats why I bought a 360. PCs suck, too much installing and upgrading to play the new game you bought. With the Xbox its just pop and play. And I'm definitely goona cop that this weekend.

Not only can I not run it on my PC but DRM can go suck my unmentionables. So, as much as I'd love to get it for PC I had to settle for 360.

I chose illegally download, however when a patch is released that removes the secuROM (which usually takes a few months after release) I will be buying it.
Before you all critisize me for being a pirate, first up know that
1. Yes, I am, and no, it doesn't bother me.
2. SecuROM renders games unplayable due to my crapass dvd drive, and if im putting that much work into making a game play properly because developers are scared of people reselling, I'm not buying (until it is fixed).
3. No, I'm not buying a new dvd drive for the sake of compensating greedy developers. Do it fairly for a wide range of hardware or don't whine when I don't do the right thing by you.
