Poll: Will you get the new XBox if the rumors about it are all false?

Probably not. A big downside from my perspective is Xbox Live. I can't see them getting rid of that now after building it up so much.
Still, if it manages to stack up a great library of exclusives after a while, I'll certainly consider it, if only for the singleplayer.

If Xbox Live still costs money, there is almost 0 chance that the 361 will be my primary system. Every generation, one system is chosen to rule them all and becomes my go-to system. It is bought first (generally a year or three after it comes out for I will never buy a console on release) and will remain the sole system until the other one drops enough in price and has enough exclusives to justify it.

The more I see Sony's attitude, the more I like what I'm seeing. Microsoft is going to have to do a lot to convince me to remain the top dog in my house.

I never buy a system at initial release. I normally wait until said system has built up a good library of game until I make a decisions. xbox live is a non-issue for me because I only play lan multiplayer with friends and I already have 6 systems in my game room soooo backwards compatibility is meh. I am too old to care about console wars, eventually I'll just buy a PS4 and xbox360 pt.2 like I own a PS3 and xbox360.

I'm not buying it either way. With my Argentina's economy it'll probably cost four times as much as it should.
I'm a PS fanboy but the PS4 looked aweful, so either I get next XBOX or I get PS4 and be miserable about it.
Not really. I've come to dislike Microsoft's handling of the 360 and its internal systems, so I doubt I'd get the nextBox. I already have the WiiU, and I'm about 50/50 with the PS4. I might get that, might not depending on how I am financially.
I haven't really heard anything positive about the next Xbox. Sony revealed just enough about the PS4 to make me interested in where it will go, but the Nextbox hasn't really had any positive news. If microsoft blows my mind away with amazing exclusives and getting rid of Xbox live then.. Maybe?
Part of me is considering picking up a Wii U then sticking to that and my PC for my non-portable gaming needs. In that case I'll probably wait until either the other consoles have enough nice things to win me over or I'll simply go without. Sony does have the advantage in that some of the series I really care about are Sony exclusives such as Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank, though.
All around I'm not very excited about what Microsoft will have to offer next E3, with or without all of the negative rumors surrounding it. Sony has been better to me then microsoft this generation and I see it still treating me nicely when we go into the next generation.

I really don't know. It all depends on a variety of unknown factors that won't be apparent until the consoles have been out for a few months. I'm kind of edging towards abandoning console gaming altogether - I rarely go on my PS3 - but I don't want to miss out on certain console exclusives.
If it doesn't have an Always Online requirement, then absolutely.

They'd have to drop the ball in a spectacular "Window 8" way for me to jump ship at this point. "Always On" is really all they can do to reach such a colossal level of "fail". But, Steve Balmer is just the man for the job, so I'll wait for the full reveal before I make my decisions.

Depends. PS4 brought a lot to the table, but if Xbox has an always online thing then I am going for a Ps4
Maybe, it depends on the exclusives and the state of Xbox Live.
The 360's exclusives do not impress (the only one in the console's entire exclusive roster that I really like is Lost Odyssey, the rest are merely OK, imo) and Xbox Live is a massive, ad-filled con. If both of these problems are fixed then I will buy it.

I would consider it but I have gravitated away from the 360 this gen more towards the PS3 it just seemed to offer more all round at overall less expense (eventually).
I really dont like Microsoft but I got an Xbox and a 360 because there were some games I wanted on them so if the rumours prove false I could quite possibly get the nextbox at some point but I am tempted to hold off to see what the hardware is like this time as the 360s reliability is beyond a joke.

If it's always online there will be ZERO chance I would buy it . I have this thing that I don't buy things that have features which is nothing more than a way for a company to laugh at how stupid their consumers are!
