I actually loved the Sonic Adventure games back when I was about ten years old.
Then Sonic Heroes came out and it all went completely downhill from there.

Sonic Adventure was pure awsomeness, which is why it was such a shock that Sonic Adventure 2 was pure shit. Thats my reason why SA2 deserves the shitty crown, just because of how far Sonic fell as a result. All the following games were shit, but we were half expecting them to be shitty, so they didnt have as far to fall. SA2's shittiness came out of nowhere, which is why it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I liked both Sonic Adventure games. I remember when Sonic Heroes was first announced, and I thought of how horrible every Sonic game from then on was going to be. I should have warned someone, I suppose.

I have to say that even though I love the Adventure games, I must say that Adventure 1 has one of the worst stages in any 3D Sonic game (if not the worst). In case you don't know which stage I'm talking about, I'm talking about the Big the Cat stages (A.K.A. the stages where you sit around and fish).

I disliked Shadow the Hedgehog because they made a Sonic game without Sonic as the main character and replaced the speed with guns.

Hmmm fresh dogshit would be a pretty accurate description of most recent sonic games... Poor old sonic. I think Yahtzee is wrong, they don't need to euthanise him, just make him 2D again!

They actually did once. They ported the original to the GBA, and it had a whole bunch of glitches, framerate problems, and awful collision detection.

BTW, I think it's funny how a lot of people here say "All of them" even though there are some good games (not a lot, but some).

The only 3D sonic game that I ever played was Sonic Adventure 2. I always wondered what that game would have been like if they had finished it before they put it on retailer shelves.
