It sounds like a pretty boring ghostlike existence. I'd rather take my chances with oblivion.
REALLY?? infinity on your own in the darkness, never ending, never progressing? heck i'd rather spend an eternity working in McDonalds then face a 0.001% chance of THAT!

If it's oblivion, I won't be there to see it. After all, I don't remember any eternity of torment before I was born.

Aww thats no fun, whats the point in being a ghost if you can't scare people. DO NOT WANT.
you could peep at girls changing for thousands of years?
I am a girl. If I want to see girls changing I can just go to the gym.
*blushes* my bad
Aww its ok *pats* easy mistake to make....
Especially with a name like Girl With One Eye.
That names so deceptive about your gender!

Also: I wouldn't with those limitations. Maybe if I could move with more freedom and interact a bit I'd stick around

Well, if there is an I, alone and senseless in the black void, for all the time since the big bang until I was born and attached to a human body.... 12 billion years, I'm fairly sure I'd recall that. Since I don't, I can pretty safely assume there won't be an I at the other side either to experience oblivion. It's not a comforting thought now but I'm sure it's not going to worry me overmuch afterwards, and it sounds better than several millenia being tormented by my inability to really interact with the universe.

you see im not so sure of that, without a brain, how would you remember and recall that? perhaps, prior to birth, we are creatures free of worry, regret or concern? or maybe being born wipes your spiritual memory banks clean and gives you a fresh start, who knows? the possibilities are endless!

Hmmm... You can only interact with other ghosts...
If you can't scare the **** out of a normal passerby, then where's the fun?
I would move on.

I would only be a ghost if I looked something like this:

Scaring the crap out of people would be awesome.

EDIT: You said you can float around, so that does mean people can see you?

Looking like this as a ghost wouldn't be bad either.
Exactly what I was thinking, although I'd rather not have the sex change.

If there is one thing Harry Potter has taught me, its that being a ghost sucks. I would much rather move on.

Edit: Also, figuring out that there is something else after life would have me extremely excited. I never really dug the idea of being a ghost either. It looks like it would be really.... cold. I don't like being cold.

A regular ghost? ...maybe, so long as I'm a full body apparition, not some energy orb that just floats around, doing nothing.

A Starcraft Ghost? HELLZ YEAH I'd love to nuke anyone who pisses me off.

No way, that's some major bullshit right there. If you're going to be a ghost you have to be able to haunt people and stuff. You know, open doors, appear in mirrors or reflections in glass, make creepy noises, move light objects, fuck around with electricity, posses people and make them kill their families, that sort of thing.

I think I'd want to move on. I'm an atheist so obviously doubt there's anything else after this, but nobody can say for sure, so if given the choice to 'move on' I would want to know what's next. Always look forward, never stick around as a miserable-ass ghost who can't touch anything or talk to anyone
