I bought Warhawk.

It was great for a while.

Then I realised the bandwidth it used wasn't worth it.

I wouldn't buy a multiplayer-only game now because, quite simply, I can't be bothered playing online enough to keep my skills up. If it's a game which has multiplayer I can pick up occasionally, then I'll be encouraged by the multiplayer being good, but it won't sell a game to me these days.

Although I do intend to play MAG at some point. I've seen it played literally twice, and it seemed fun. But I wouldn't be playing often enough to be worth buying it.

I voted yes, because I have, but it was mostly to support the company and just try the game (plus it was on sale). I have both Team Fortress games, but that is because they were included in packs I bought. Most of the time, I just play the single player anyway.

absolutely not. Single player is usually the whole point of a game. plus you don't have do put up with the same garbage on single player as you do on multiplayer, like kids who mod, trolls, noobs... etc.

I only play multiplayer, I very rarely buy games for their single player.

Sure, haven't played BFBC2 or MW2 single player yet, i do so eventually but i wouldn't be supprised if i never go tto it. I've played/play both multiplayer though.

HoN doesn't have single player, and i loe that game.

I couldn't care for single player parts of fighters like tekken, only as far as it take sto unlock characters or otehr stuff (SSBB for insatnce)

Don't think i'll ever get to play L4D2 without friends either.

i bought Battlefield 1943 and it was definitely worth it. i do wish they released more maps for it though.

so yes, i am willing to buy a game that has no single player. it has to have top-notch multiplayer, though

Nope. Online-play, in general, rarely appeals to me so there's no way I'd seek out a game that solely played online.

Not unless it was a REALLY good multiplayger game, such as a shooter like Counter-strike or an MMO.

I bought TF2 and both Left 4 Deads, so that's that.

EDIT: Oooooh! Six hundred and sixty-six posts! This calls for a celebration.

While I generally prefer a fantastic singleplayer campaign over a multiplayer offering...

*looks at Unreal Tournament, Bad Company 2, Battlefield, Halo*
I suppose I buy a few games JUST for the multiplayer.
