No. Imagine this situation : You invite a person to your house/appartment so that you can impress her, and when she looks at your movies (WHICH SHE WILL!) She finds "Escapist Magazine presents Zero Punctuation on DVD".

First response she will have is : "Okay, what the hell is this?" so she looks at the back of the DVD case and sees a bunch of crap about Yahtzee and his angry rants on video games.

Second response is this : "Oh god, a video game nerd." She will then quietly put the DVD back on your shelf so you don't notice she's seen it.

Third response is being distant and bored all night and imagining that the second she leaves you will go join your stupid gamer buddies and be an antisocial nerd.

You drive her home and when you lean in for a kiss, the fourth response kicks in, DENIED! She politely comes up with an excuse (while actually thinking EWWWWW YOU NERD!!!), and walks into her building. A great night ruined by something you could have gotten for free on the internet.

Nope because of:
a.) If there were extras on the DVD it would be about Game Damage *gun to head*
b.) Its free on the internet so why not just watch it here?

No, why would I pay when they are free on the internet?
Completely and utterly seconded.
Thirded
Fourth-ed. All that required is an real player, with their nifty "download any video you want" add on, you could probably just make your own. That being said, if it was under ten bucks, I'd probably think about it.
Fifthed. I think this is the first time an escapist post has been "fifthed" or whatever. Yeah uh, unless it was reasonably priced, and had a bunch of cool extras, i might consider. He might have to do what the AVGN did.
Sixthed. Why bother when it's free!
seventhed
8th'd.
Ninthed. Not worth it unless some exclusive reviews and extras are included. But those are probably going to end up on Youtube before long anyhow.
Tenthed. Even if it did come out, that's what youtube and pirates are for. There would be no point and if Yahtzee didn't have the tendency to choose neither when faced with the choice of good or evil I'm sure he'd agree.
Eleventhed. What the hell, this is a terrible running gag and I feel ashamed to partake in it.

Also I hate it when I have to pay for stuff that was previously free, it's like the universe laughing at me.

So, with Zero Punctuation coming up on its 75th episode (77th if you count the YouTube ones), is there anyone else who'd be in favor of a DVD release?

And if Yahtzee'd be willing to acknowledge us (a very big if I admit) what supplemental features would you like to see?
I wouldn't buy a DVD of it when I can watch it on this site for nothing, and in a more user-friendly format.

I wouldn't want supplemental features as Yahtzee is not very entertaining outside of the context of his game reviews.

As soon as it came out, I love him (take that however you want, as it's probably true) He's amazing and I would support his work and this site however I could.

Definitely, I've already bought 60$ worth of ZP swag.

Nope. Unlike many of the DVDs released (like RvB) from web series, there's no reason to watch ZP back-to-back. It's not like Yahtzee has a continuing story that would benefit from being put all in one package. It's much easier to watch random episodes online. I can't imagine "bonus content" being very useful either.

If he does make one, it should come with an extra video showing how he makes ZP, aswell as a poster, a badge, a Ben Croshaw version of the board game yahtzee, a hat, and maybe even a ZP action Figure.

Why would you ever buy something that is free online?

I dunno...to show your support? That's why some people bought League of Legends even though you can legally get it for free (last I knew).

Novel concept giving money to things you like even if you don't have to.

It really depends. Most likely not (as I have yet to buy the Red Vs. Blue DVDs I'm still interested in getting but don't feel like putting money out for).

If the bonus content was worth it and if it had longer (or additional) reviews for games, I wouldn't mind. But the odds of that are low and probably not worth it anyway.

I'd go with buying a DVD, my online lately hasn't played ZP videos like it used to.

No, I wouldn't because I don't watch them multiple times. I watch them once and that's about it. The only time I've really ever rewatched one is if at the time, I hadn't played the game and once I do, I go back and watch it again. Because the second, I'll understand what he's talking about.

Otherwise, no. I see no point in owning the episodes.
