I don't think Apple would go into the robotic limb business anyway. If you look at their product design these last years, it becomes apparent that they've been working hard to remove moving parts from their products. From the removal of latches to close their notebooks in favor of magnets to the move to SSDs in favor of HDDs in their Airs, it is plain to see that moving parts are not in Apple's vision of the future.

Now, when it comes to limbs, I'd say moving parts are a preeeetty big deal.

I would definitely buy robotic limbs from Apple. I actually like Apple (heresy!). Besides, I want my robotic limbs ASAP and if it's anything like the smart phone or tablet markets no good non-Apple alternatives will exist until sometime after Apple makes their product.
Problem is you would only be able to masturbate if you had the iPenis peripheral!

Hell no. I don't want to buy the new version of a robotic limb every few weeks. I'd buy from someone else

This is basically what I was going to say, but Dan phrased it better.

I'd buy a robot limb, but not from Apple. I'd buy from a reputable hardware manufacturer, not a hipster fashion company.
Besides, you couldn't masturbate with an Apple-branded arm, not use it to help please your partner. There would not be an app for that.

If they were from apple, then chances are you wouldn't be able to do anything useful that wasn't meticulously made for them.

All apple jokes aside, I wouldn't buy it from them. I'd wait until someone makes a better version.

If I wanted an expensive robotic limb that was flashy sure, But if I wanted one with some functionality I'd get one from Microsoft =)

Depends, if the apple robotic limbs give me the ability to play my ipod through my limbs then I'd be all over that. If not than I'm going to wait until one of the cooler companies like microsoft or sony come out with robotic limbs.
Why Sony? The network would get hacked then you have to call up Mastercard to tell them your data was compromised and you need new fingerprints.

Sorry couldn't resist.

I'm not buying robo limbs from anyone. That's pansy stuff. I'm waiting until they can just change my genes and make me superhuman.

If I had to buy robo limbs...hell no I wouldn't buy from apple. They make iPods not freaking body parts! Christ. 'Would you buy a new video game console if it was made by Walmart"...no...no I wouldn't.

Maybe, if the new limb was proven to be significantly better than a normal limb. Also, why Apple? You had to have known that this would just devolve into a childish Apple-bashing thread, right? I hope that wasn't your intention, because threads specifically designed to bash things that generally amount to personal preference, such as electronics manufacturers, are just annoying and useless.

apple = hell no, i'd spit on it and die before contributing to that old fuckheads organization, i'll buy it from someone else that is actually decent, and hopefully they are based on robotic limbs, and not sucking every penny dry over over priced trash

I'd want to get robotic eyes made by Lens Crafters, a robotic arm from Springfield Armory, and another arm by Cat.
Springfield Armory? nah Dude if you've got the money go Wilson Combat or Glock for price and reliability.

Don't know anything about Wilson Combat. Never liked Glock ergonomics, but than again would that matter with an arm?

Well if you got the glock arm I'm sure the ergo's would work out perfectly for holding a glock. But I bet holding a 1911 would feel weird.
