Yeah. He's entered this house intent on causing harm and distress. Under other circumstances, I might be leaving via the ground-floor window, but if it's the house then I'm between him and my little sister. Shotgun, muzzle, throat, bang.

If he broke into my house trying to kill me, i would try very hard not to kill him or to disarm him in some way. If forced to, yes i would kill him without a second thought.

This. If he threatened my family then I would shoot him. But if he only wants to kill me then I would shoot him in the arm or something.

If my family is in the house then yes, without hesitation or thought. Otherwise, I can find something else, but it will probably be risky.

Had to think about this in a question posed to me once: Kill one man to save five, or let them all die. I realised that really it wouldn't be too hard to just imagine them as a nazi/helghast/combine villain! (jk)

Yes. If someone broke into my house I would try to see if they were armed and I would warn them that I have a gun and they should leave, because I don't want to kill them if I don't have to. But if they have a weapon and continue to act aggressively, or in a situation where they intend to kill me such as in the OP, then yes I would shoot them. In the head.

If at all possible, then I would disable him until the cops got there just because I wouldn't want deal w/ legal issues. In general at least, I like to think that I value all life; so I might attempt to keep alive simply because of that.

But if I can't do that or I am not confident that I will be able to disable him, then yes, I would kill him before he killed me. It seems natural to me, and to judge someone negatively if this situation were to arise just seems wrong to me.

Generally speaking, no. But if it was kill or be killed? Then most likely, yes. Fingers crossed I'll never be in such a situation. I think even in such a situation if I could get away without killing I'd do it. I can't see how it'd solve anything.

Well if it were possible to cripple him in a way that prevented him from hurting me or anyone around me then I would do that rather than killing him. Otherwise...well yeah I'd kill him.

i could make a list of dangerous things inside my house, but i don't intend on using 'em. You've seen most of 'em anyways in my room xD - That's if you class blunt-force weapons as dangerous.
