As a matter of fact, i think that a discreet furry tail would like quite pretty on girls.

It's a similar logic to breasts. One sex has them, another sex doesn't. Being a pretty outgoing type (as in, I'm clubbing every weekend), i could very well imagine many of those beautiful ladies in town having a little furry tail, wiggling it about while dancing, using it to tease guys by physical contact (the tail is a muscle after all, which makes it controllable). I actually wouldn't mind. The advantage is that a tail can still be removed for those who doesn't want it.

Then again, i suspect that if women did have tails, most parents would have it removed at birth rather than giving them the choice later....

If it weren't for the furry trends, probably. I like the sort of monkey tails the saiyans had (minus the weakness), and that it can just be coiled around their waist to keep it out of the way.

basically this, as long as it was essentially a muscled tail, so i could hang upside down and shit from it, then yeah awesome.

but if it was a nasty reptile tail or some weird dinosaur thing sticking out the back, then no thank you.
