Poll: Would you Marry a Pornstar?

Seriously, I'm really curious about what you guys think!

I got into a lengthy debate with my girlfriend on this topic last night. I would also like women to respond to this question as well - would you marry a man if you knew that he starred in porn? I felt the Escapist would be good place to gather opinions.

In a nutshell, I would not want to marry a pornstar because thinking about how many other guys my partner had been with would not make it feel special (you may call me selfish if you like).

On the otherhand, my girlfriend feels that porn can be a professional business and pornstars, especially women, also deserve to get married and have families someday.

Opinions? Please note that I didn't include a 3rd poll option - "Maybe, depending on if we're compatible people" - because why would you marry somebody who you weren't compatible with anyway? Please just assume that she/he is compatible with you and everything is fine - Except for the fact that she/he was a pornstar. Would you still want to marry?

Do I love her? Then yes. Sure it'd be weird while dating and I would have to be sure she doesn't have any diseases (I'm sorry, I mean infections), but if we are compatible/have chemistry/insert cliche here/love each other after that, then yes.

I don't think I could marry or even date someone who is currently working as a pornstar.

Jealousy would get the best of me and it wouldn't work out.

If she was a pornstar, but isn't any longer, then I wouldn't mind. I love her and her past won't get in the way (who knows, she could even teach me a few tricks, Know what I mean? Know what I mean?)

And of course, if she would be willing to end her career in porn for my sake, I would buy her tons of jewelry and give her the best dang wedding ever just because I'd be so touched by what she did for me.

See, diseases are a big reason I wouldn't. Also, I would worry about how many people have seen her! Like what if we're walking around the mall and some guy and his friends yell out like - "Hey look! It's Candy the Cock Gobbler!!" What would you do?

You know, those videos on Pornhub and YouPorn have like MILLIONS of views on every single one!

I don't think I'd even consider dating someone still in the business, simply because I'm unsure how to mentally parse the stuff it takes to be that kind of professional. But someone who was once in it? Yeah, sure, can't see why not.

It's a job, and hardly the worst one in the world. Could definitely make for some weird moments, though.
