It's tempting. My life would be much less boring if I heard Morgan Freeman talking all the time, but it would definitely get irritating when I was doing mundane things I hated, like say, homework, or work-work. I say no. However, if I can get a soundtrack, totally different

As long as he/she was suitably funny, then I'm game for that.

I'd just want my privacy for some days... when it might be a problem...

If I get Deadpool to narrate my life, do I also get little yellow thought bubbles? Because that would make me the HAPPIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD.

This has to happen.

You have the luxury of being able to "tune" people into your narration if you feel like it. But there are good reasons for not doing so.

Another thread where the poll question is the exact opposite of the title question. Would people please stop doing that? And of course I wouldn't want a narrator, it would just be too creepy.

For shame Escapist. For shame! Nobody thinks of Malcolm McDowell? Really?

At least one of you wanted Jeremy Irons.

Really I'd probably go with Grey DeLisle though. The woman is amazing.

A hammy Russ Meyer / Ed Wood type narrator might be amusing, then again it might make my life a living hell.
Far safer to go with one of the other options above: Rickman, Freeman, Clarkson, Nimoy would all be awesome.

EDIT: Laura Bailey - oh yes.

Once the narration starts, can I ever stop it?

I wouldn't want a narrator, some things just shouldn't be narrated, like trips to the toilet, for example.

Only if I got to have the narrator from DragonBall Z.

"Will he finally get off his ass and have a shower? Will he finally be able to find a job?
Find out on the next (not so) exciting episode of Matt's life ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

I already narrate for myself, but it'd be cool to take a break. It's annoying describing the brushing of my teeth while brushing my teeth. And my sexual partners think I'm crazy.

Nope. It never stops. The only escape you can get from it is when you sleep. Depending upon who's voicing the narration, getting to sleep could either be easy or difficult.

QUESTION! Am I the only person who hears the narration or, is it broadcast around me for people to hear if they're too close? If I'm the only one who hears the narration than I'm going to chose YES and my pick for the narrator will be Jeremy Irons.

Patrick Stewart.

"Captain's log, day 33. Micalas still hasn't left his fucking computer chair. He's been playing league of legends nonstop and his excrement has mutated into a sentient life-form. I have contemplated worshipping this creature."

David Tennant, hands down. If my brain could talk, it would have his voice.
