Poll: Would you play a game where the main character was gay?

Sure, I'd play a game where the main character is gay/lesbian. Nothing wrong with that. But it does depend tho...is it a good game, or a bad one?
I dont know, it would be... weird.
I have nothing against gay people, its theyr choice.
If it would be like an rpg, where i could hit on other guys and start relationships, then no.
If it would be just another fps or something, then shure, it wont bother me.

I'd play it but I have to admit I wouldn't enjoy the game as much. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with homosexuals and the likes, it's just that, when I play a game, I like to relate to the main character as much as possible (IE put myself in his shoes) and his being gay would inevitably create a part of the character that I can't understand and will never relate to (for that matter, I can't play a female character either... I just can't relate to things that don't apply).
Well... people play the Zelda games so...

Anyway, I'll give pretty much anything a chance, sexual orientation has never bothered me before. Well, except from that gay orc drooling over my poor dark elf in the Shivering Isles expansion of Oblivion. He scared the crap out of me.
If the gameplay is entertaining enough, I wouldn't care much if the main character was chasing sheep around the country side for a little fun.

Don't know if this has already been said but, only if it fit. If it was actually a plot element and the game would seem strange if he/she wasn't gay then yes. Otherwise, it's just a tacked on, useless plot device that is out of place and could have easily been left out.

I am not uncomfortable playing a gay or lesbian character. So the answer is of course, yes. If the character is too heavily stereotyped, I might not really care for it (unless it was done for comical reasons), though it wouldn't be the same sort of objection.
If he was funny gay! like making halerious gay comments when beating up the guys
