If you found out that your best friend (or close friend)was going to die in a few days or less, would you tell them? If you did, they would probably not enjoy their final days knowing they were going to die, and maybe even kill themselves. But then again, they might have fun for their final days if they had sense. If you didn't tell them he wouldn't be alive to ask "Why didn't you tell me?" but he would have a normal life for his last days. If he was at school, he wouldn't even enjoy them. But then again, he wouldn't mind because he wouldn't know that they were his last days...

I don't know what I would do, discuss.

I guess I wouldn't tell him.
Instead, I'd try to convince him to go to a spontanous holiday (tropical island, skiing, whatever) and try to make his last days particularily nice ones.
But I can't be sure.

depends what kind of person it is i mean mine i think he'd probably go out and have as much fun as possible but others might spend their days in their room crying

I don't know... it'd depend on which friend it is that's dying. I'd try to make their last few days as good as possible, though.

I'd agree; there are some people who frankly are better off not thinking about it, and others who would need to be told just to keep them from wasting those remaining hours.

In the former instance, I would try to help them flee the country, and perhaps stick around them to try and act as some sort of bodyguard.
In the latter instance, I would tell them, offer a shoulder to cry on, and try to make their last few days as enjoyable as possible.

So, basicly, the same thing most people would do.

Yes, if they're dying they deserve to know and there's no way you could take them out for a week of fun without your face giving away you know something they don't.

i suppose that the other question this could be shown as is, "would you want you'r friend to tell you", i would say yes. I've thought about this a few times and i think i would want to die in my own way, and by that i dont mean by euthenasia (lethal injection or overdose), i'd want to go somewhere that means something to me, like the alps or the savanna, and/or die in my own way, like by jumping off the sheer side of the matahorn mountain.

A bit ambitious maybe but it is my death afterall, but this is just me.

I would stay around him or her every second of each day until the time they were supposed to die and I would see if I could rescue him or her or somthing, unless it turns out I accually accadentally kill him or her, that would suck.
