I'm going to be somewhat pedantic and answer the question put forward of this thread and not that asked in the post itself. Therefore, my answer is Ashley Williams. I may have kept you alive during the first game, but seeing that you came back as whiny, narrow-minded fool of a woman in the second game, you have to go, I'm afraid.

Also, I may like some of the ME2 squadmates less than the others, but not so much that I'd need to have one of them bumped off.

Jack, I only grudgingly went on her loyalty mission for completions sake. Aside from that I never talked to her if I didn't have to. Can't quite put my finger on any one specific thing about her either, I just need her off my ship.

The multiple reloads I've tried to send Jack to her death and come out with someone else dying....ARRRGH THE HUMANITY! She just won't die, why would you ever choose to have a love interest with her unless you have a sick sense of humour

EDIT: On second thought I'd get rid of Jacob, I could at least find something of use for Jack, you could tell he only got recruited for PC reasons and just in case the movies are right and the black guy is always the first to die.

Tali. She's fine as a character, but her fans are obnoxious.
I agree with this and it was also why I choose Tali.

I like Jack and Grunt, so if I had to choose I'd let everyone else die to keep those two.

Definitely Jack, I didn't want her crazy ass to begin with. She's a nonsense character imo.
I second this. She was pointless, and I hated her.
Pointless? She's the only character (besides maybe Shepard) that has shockwave. Do you know how awesome it is to send a double shockwave down a narrow corridor filled with Husks?

Miranda. I just don't like her. Her face, her over-fan-serviceness and the ''superior-than-thou'' attitude. We get it. You're better than us, but a bullet to the brain can stop damn near anything.

But if I had to go by pure reason, I'd off Samara. She's willing to kill police officers just because they'd get in her way. She's like the Punisher if he were an idiot. Lemme explain, her code states that she can't hurt innocent people, unless they get in her way, in which case she's allowed to KILL them. If I could have killed Samara without getting Morinth in return, I would have. At least Morinth doesn't pretend she's a paragon of justice.

I like how someone got a warning for saying Shepard, the moderates were like Oh hell no! I voted for Miranda/Jack, didn't like them even slightly, and what twisted creature would vote Legion, or Mordin?

Thane. He doesn't talk often, but when he does, I just wanna punch him in the mouth for wasting my time.

You didn't bother to read half of my comment, the Geth are at fault for murdering billions of Quarians and stealing their planet, not for having a desire for freedom.
Gotta get freedom some how. Protip: Don't keep slaves. It always ends badly.
I'm not saying the Geth are the bad guys, I'm saying neither side has done the other any favors.

From ME1: I'd vent Kaiden or Ashley, whichever one didn't get killed in the story. It balances out the squad racially and I just found both of them bland.

ME2: Miranda. Her blind loyalty to Cerberus and willingness to make excuses for them just rubs me the wrong way. Samara might have a blind loyalty to her code, but a code can't fund a torture prison for kids.

Capcha: Elizabeth ongsiv. Sounds like a ME3 character to me!

based on combat Garrus (from ME1 not 2) as whenever I had him in my squad in ME1 he spent most the time dead, fine as a character not as a squad mate

based on character Miranda,Grunt, Jacob all fairly dull

As much as some of the squad mates initially annoyed me (Ashley, Miranda, etc), I can't imagine killing any of them. After travelling with them and seeing them develop, I've learned to appreciate them all in their own way. That said, if I WAS going to kill one...Hmmm.

I suppose the character I disliked the most was Grunt. The concept of a perfectly engineered Krogan was interesting, but there was nothing in his personality that I found engaging. He was just the replacement Krogan after Wrex left. I was actually kinda hoping to pick up the crazy scientist like I was supposed to. I suppose Mordin has that area covered, though.

Samara's daughter was also a bit dull.

Personally, I'd "accidentally" push Jacob out of the airlock. He's the Kaiden of Mass Effect 2, the "goody-goody", "by-the-book" sidekick, and for that he needs to die.
I don't hate Jacob, but I disliked him greatly for this reason when I first met him. Now I actually don't have a problem with "by-the-book" characters. I loved Kaiden. However, that made me dislike Jacob even more. He felt like a replacement and I didn't appreciate it. As the game progressed, I warmed up to him.

Jack... totally Jack.

I can't use her on this mission (She is a danger to all of us). And also she is ugly *g*
