Depends what I drink... If I stick with G+T I will not only spend ages getting drunk, but I can slide quite a few down and not get a hang over!

Port on the other hand will seriously put me out of action!

Guinness is my middle ground... and has a 50/50 chance of killing me the nect day after my standard 8 pints!

Same here. I'm luckily one of those people that doesn't feel like he's gonna die when he wakes up.

Pretty dehydrated, but never a hangover.

Also, I think the shittieness of a hangover is directly parallel to how much sugar is in the drinks you are taking. Why wine hangovers are apparently worse than most others.

15+, been since I turned like 16 or something. I don't really get hangovers. Just if I drink like 0,5 litre od harde booze during one night. I can down 12+ beers a night with pretty minimal problems. I will be pretty drunk, yes, but the next morning, aside from maybe a light headache or increased tiredom, I will be completelly and utterly fine.

Comes with being Finnish, I guess.

The being drunk part is quite fun, you can get away with all sorts of shit you wouldn't normally do. The being hungover part is what you generally try to avoid. Depending on what you drink, it can taste quite nice, there's another reason for you. That said, I'm not such a fan of clubs, but a few pints with friends in the pub? Sign me up :)
I have no friends.
What's good to drink? Of the two things I've sipped, both are awful.

Hangovers happen when you get older. Trust me. Everyone on here claiming they don't get them, you've got a horrible shock coming to you one Sunday morning.

When I was younger I could drink anything I wanted and not have a hangover. Now a couple of pints is enough to make my head explode the next day. Doesn't stop me though!

Can handle it quite well.

Took me a can of Carlsberg, two bottles of cider, five cans of Fosters and a shit tonne of vodka, cider and whatever I could find to get me drunk last party, and I was one of the least drunk.

As for hangovers? They're for amateurs ;)

What have you tried? What tastes nice will inevitably vary from person to person, but I'm quite partial to Jack Daniels when mixed with coke. Cider's another favourite drink of mine. If you have a sweet tooth, you can get toffee apple cider (it's nice, but you will be mocked for drinking it). Alcohol is a bit of an acquired taste though, I certainly didn't like it the firat few times I tried, but it does grow on you.

Not that high, I don't drink a lot mainly because being Drunk (not being able to think straight) isn't worth the price of a collosal headache the next morning, in my opinion.

3x bottles of Stella Cidre will give me a horrible hangover, mostly headache, for the entire day afterwards.

Yet, drinking so much that I puke, pass out and can't remember the entire night won't give me a hangover. That'll be fine.

So... 2-5?

Good genes and lots of practice mean I'm able to hold my own in terms of alcohol, which I'll say as about 20 units before I start to feel like ass. Though, I don't drink as much as I used to, and have found a couple of preferred drinks that I like to stick with.

Wine is nice, especially with food. You need to spend at least a fiver (sterling) to avoid the risk of it tasting of vinegar though. I would say its best drunk with a meal, or with a plentiful supply of cheese, crackers and cheese related condiments.

I'm not a fan of spirits, although Irish coffee makes a nice nightcap.

Beer is probably one of the things you've sipped, and it is a bit of acquired taste, tending to be quite bitter. I only started drinking it because you can't go into a Glasgow pub and order a reisling, but I do like it now, to the extent that I've started drinking ales.

I'm starting to realise that I may be coming across as an alcoholic, so I'm going to stress that i actually drink pretty rarely, and only a couple of pints then. If anything, I'm addicted to tea, but then I am British so that's a given.

I have never in my life had a hangover. Even if I drink until I black out I still feel fresh as a daisy the morning after.

About 10 units. That's when I stop walking straight. I don't get hungover[footnote]I mean I feel a bit crap when I wake up, but that's due to uncomfortable sleeping somewhere, not the alcohol. I don't get pulsating headaches, which is the main part of a hangover right?.[/footnote], I have no idea why, but damn am I glad I don't.

Any more than 15+ units I throw it all up, therefore I feel great the next day, much to the amazement of my friends.

It also depends on what I drink. Cider, beer/lager makes me feel awful during the night out. Shots and spirits are a bit better. But I can just continuously drink Bailey's. Probably due to my love for milk.

I get a headache the next morning after one beer, but if I drink ten beers, I get the same headache but nothing else. Once I'm in the double digits, I might be sloppy and obnoxious, but I'll be pretty much fine the next day

I'm not allowed to drink, literally. Surely you've met a woman in you life who turns into a stark raving ***** after a few shots.

Last time I got drunk I threw some punches, keyed a car, tried to choke a guy because I "thought he was cute", honked a girl's boobs, ranted about the past; confusing what happened in the early 1990s with things that actually happened in the early 2000s, & went miniature golfing with some other drunks & we got into an argument with 4 teenaged girls there.

I'm fairly resistant to hangovers. Honestly, they're not what dictates my limit, it's how much I can drink while remaining a functional adult. It's very rare that I'm hungover to any debilitating degree.

The best tip I can offer is to keep yourself well hydrated, which means slogging down loads and loads of water. Think you've had enough water? You haven't. Sink down a few more glasses. Also, greasy food is a good tactic.
There used to be a very good café fairly close to where I live which had these lovely sandviches, dripping in olive oil, which did wonders. Although it's a "fashionable" hairdresser now, all white and sparkling tiles, designer furniture and awful music. *Grumble*

I had my first ever hangover last year. But in my defence, I was mixing pints of Stella and Cider (neither of which I ever drink). And we were downing them all night. I called it quits after, what, 10 pints, so what, 20 units? Funny thing is, just got in from a session, and I've had... six double vodka's, and I'm not even mildly tipsy. Go figure.
