Processor, without a doubt. I don't buy new games without demo's because I'm not usually sure if my processor can handle it.

but the processor is highly mediocre and struggles to support The Witcher 2.
Exactly how good is your processor? Because I've been eyeing this game for a while, but am sceptical as to whether I can run it well enough.
It's an i5-540M dual core @ 2.53 ghz, which I believe is just below the game's requirements. It runs smoothly only on minimal settings :(

Though it's generally ok for medium settings

I'd still recommend getting the game, even if it lags a bit. It's a fantastic game

The fan. It refuses to cool my laptop down.
I recently got an Acer Aspire 5735 and it over heats a lot. And when it over ehats it shuts itself down without any warning.
It's so annoying.
But apart from the fan I'd have to say the video card is the weakest part.
Try a cooling pad to force that air through. Laptops aren't gaming machines to begin with and require more maintenance than a desktop to keep cool. Plus laptop heat sinks clog up with dust and hair really easily too, found that out with plenty of serviced laptops. Check the oil sinks and cooling system at least once a year.

This is really embarrassing.

My computer is 2002 dell computer which wasn't even meant for gaming.

RAM: ONE gigabyte
CPU: 2.80 GHz
Graphics card: RADEON X300

Also, it is probably loaded with viruses, it thinks the time is 6:27AM,Saturday,27 November,2004, The internet explorer is so outdated I'm scared to open it.

Mine likes to blue screen on me every now and then, and I have yet to figure out why. I've done countless scans of the bloody thing but it can never seem to find anything! It's...horribly annoying.

Plus, it gets stupidly hot sometimes....which may well link to the aforementioned problem.

I'm currently on my laptop right now and it keeps bloody overheating because of how shit the cooling system. I've heard in this model they vent air from the CPU to the GFX card to cool it down -.-

Video card. When Bad Company 2 runs at 27-40fps on Medium settings, it's quite obvious the GT320 is outdated. :/

I do believe my laptop's got one of of those intergrated video cards thingies, so it can't play any games ever, no exceptions

At least i think that's why it can't play games

Oh and my home PC takes an hour to load the desktop and internet, go figure
