Also, It would be nice to migrate over to 64bit Win7 instead of 32 as I am sitting on 8gb of ram plus a 1gb video card on a 32bit system
Why would you put that much RAM into a system that cannot use it?
Because when the parts were purchased it was for a computer for someone else. Secondary reason was that for this weird and limited mobo, 2 sticks of 4gb ram came out to be cheaper than 2 sticks of 2gb ram.

Tertiary reason, The original intention was to build this PC as a gift for someone. However, During the order/build time, they screwed me over. So, Considering that, and the fact the parts were going to be better than what my personal system was running at the time, I kept those weird parts (Mobo, Processor, Ram) and intergrated them into my PC (Video card, Hard Drive, PSU, Case, Etc) And used the weaker parts from my PC to build theirs.

Plus.. I have yet to store all my vital files in preparation for a migration over to a 64bit OS, which I might hold off on that until I do a new build all together.

I just built a new rig so everything is pretty top of the line at the moment however my weakest link would probably still be my HD. Although I am running a SSD for my boot drive now, its too small to run most games off of. Since I mostly use Steam and it won't let me swap between drives for installs, all my games are on my Western Digital Caviar 1TB which has only 7200 RPM 32MB Cache.
It is not as fast as I would like but the faster ones get far more expensive than I care to spend. Especially given what I spent on the rest.

My computer in terms of hardware is STILL top-of-the-line after about 3 years ^^
Windows 7 is probably the largest weakness from the poll options... I'd run linux if it was compatible with half the games I play T.T

The WEAKEST link is my internet connection, wireless connection travelling a good 10m, I reach 500kbps at best (to be fair the fastest I've EVER seen it go is 700kbps... which is a nice speed really...) but at it's worst I get roughly 30kbps or no signal at all. every day between 8PM and 10PM my ISP has 'peak time' which throttles the speed down to about 100kbps tops, and if it rains the connection drops out completely a lot of the time...

The saddest part is that the connection we're on is about the best one we can afford, living in South Australia alone means shitty net but only having about $100 a fortnight spare after food and bills leaves little left in terms of upgrades :/

Let me put it this way...I cant even run Minecraft.
Actually because it's coded in Java... most computers have trouble running it -.-
Sure if it was rebuilt in any of the C languages it'd run on some rather ancient machines with little trouble... but as-is I know a lot of people who can run games like Just Cause 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Saints Row 2 (so many 2s...) yet chug trying to run Minecraft...

My power supply. It's only 700 W, so it'll probably bite the dust before anything else.
I'm sorry, what? 700W is a pretty good PSU and why should the wattage determine when it will kick the bucket? Depending on how it was built is the only factor that affects its lifespan and most modern PSUs are built to go for 100,000 hours (basically ten years) anyway.

I'm building a rig in a couple of months with a 750W PSU that has a quad core CPU and a GTX 560Ti with a possible SLI setup in the future with another 560Ti added on. 750W is more than enough to handle that.

This laptop is up to snuff on everything, but this shitty integrated Graphics chip just refuses to play ball. It won't even load some games altogether, notably Magika and Amnesia. But hey, TF2 works. So there's that.

My 450W power supply sets me back a good deal :/

I'm planning to upgrade to a whole new PC soon.

My quad core could use to be a bit faster, but at the moment, I'm blowing the Windows 7 hardware ratings out of the water.

other its specs right now are off the chart but it is a laptop so I cannot upgrade it in the future when new hardware is released

My CPU needs an upgrade. It's only a dual-core and the other specs are kinda "meh" too.

My already-two-year-old graphics card is oddly enough my strongest piece. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted me another three or four years too.

I've been able to run every game I own on full specs so far, even Shogun 2 (I don't own it I've just played the demo).

But I'd like to get a new CPU before I get Skyrim.

My computer can't be upgraded any further.

I bought it about three years ago with 2 GBs of RAM, about 300GB of Memory, and although I installed a new graphics card (twice) and have discovered I need a bigger power supply, I also discovered that I can't upgrade...well, most of the computer...past what it currently is.

I guess technically that would mean my motherboard is my weakest link, right?

The 6 year old 19" monitor that I have hooked up to my DVI port. Maxing out as 1280X1024 I'm going to start losing framrate in the coming years as games become optimised for higher reso's.

My video card would be good (GTX 460), but I picked a bad model that is prone to frequent lock-ups. If it worked the way it is supposed to, my weak link would be my hard drive access speed, which is at 5.9 by Windows 7's scale. Everything else is in the 7s.
Same here. 5.9 for the primary HDD, even though I'm running a Velociraptor for games. Everything else on the list is at 7.8!!

All of my stuff is pretty high-end, I've never have any performance issues. But I do have this strange random freeze that accompanies establishing and closing internet connections in some circumstances even after two reformats.

Does Skyrim support Multithreading? Unless it does upgrading from dual-core CPU will have minimal effect compared to a GPU upgrade.

The power supply is only 400W, there are 2 gigs of RAM and the processor is dual cored.
Despite that, most games work fine on it.

I would say my graphics card is probably the weakest point of my system.

It's an ATI Radeon HD3600, which I believe came with the (pre-built, straight from Best Buy or something like that) desktop in 2007 or 2008. It can run most of the games I own just fine on medium-high settings, but modern games are just out of the question.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, Just Cause 2's demo, and several other games either run like absolute crap, or don't run at all because of it.

Lets just say.... my laptop sucks altogether. It can't run doom 3 on the lowest quality without lagging all over the place.
