Poll: Your fighting game?

It was hard for me to choose between Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but MK came out in top, mainly for nostalgic reasons.

Tough Choice between Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur, both amazing but MK has been with me since SEGA years, and its still fun on the SEGA xD

Guilty Gear XX is easily the best fighting game I have ever played, I'm a little surprised its not on the poll

guilty gear..... end of story, GET SOME.

also, REALLY soul calibur. the game you spam buttons and the idea of combos is completely gone from it.

The button spam only really works with characters like maxie, trying that on line will only get you so far till some one recognizes the patter then your in for a world of guard impacting, soul crushing, critical finishing pain... yes in that order.

sorry, just doesnt work for me. Ive never attempted to play at any high level. But play something like guilty gear at high level. Button mashing will ALWAYS get you killed. There is nothing to figure out about button mashing in guilty gear. It just doesnt work.

thats respectable, it's one of those to each their own kind of things. I'm just really really bad at 2d fighters, they are great games just not for me i guess. like i said i need that 3rd dimension to side step attacks and counter attack.
