Honestly, I have to say the same, and I've played a lot of the others. First off, it actually has a story beyond "I hosted a Tournament (to take over the world?)... It's f*cking foolproof!" or "Ancient McGruffin of ULTIMATE POWAH!" (though it does include time travel, so YMMV). Second, the characters all completely different, not just from each other, but from most fighting characters in general. And lastly, the fights look amazing no matter what, if only because the attacks are over the top.Dango said:BlazBlue Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue Continuum Shift are easily the best two I've ever played.

Lol, i love Johnny, im not good at memorizing long combo lists, and in GG for most characters thats a must, Johnny always just clicked, plus his Coins are an awesome tool.I've dabbled only briefly with Johnny and after reading about his potential, I have been meaning to tear myself away from Chipp and Baiken for a while and practice some Jam, Johnny and possibly Slayer. I play ky and SOL for fun sometimes but I find ky a bit stiff sometimes. I always play at least 3 characters, Chipp (my main), Millia and Baiken as secondaries, in every fighter I play. Ragna and Jin are my secondaries in BB with Nu sometimes if i just wanna be a cheap dick.
The only console version is on the Dreamcast. And what platform is Jojo on?
I played it with one of 360 SF4 fightpads and it turned out fine, though I don't know about the true 360 ones(haven't tried them), but it is a fun game to try out, lots of unique characters(some are just seperate variants though), 30+ custom colors for each character, and story mode is fun and is actually somewhat meaningful.-Seraph- said:I've been meaning to try Melty Blood, it looks fun if not a little bland looking in the visuals. Although i am reluctant to play it because it's on the PC and the D-pad on my game controller is of Xbox 360 quality....meaning it SUCKS. Seriously my play suffers so much when i try and play Guilty Gear XX Reload or Blazblue CS (downlaoded arcade version).
Yea i have the logitec dual action controller.....and that things D-pad is a massive pile of fail. It's great for playing tons of other games but fighting games it is not. I'll still look into trying it though, I just hope it is TOO combo intensive because that would be a real chore with my controller.Durxom said:snip
Quoted for Truth. The music is amazing particularily. My one point of contention with your post is I prefer XX.-Seraph- said:Your lack of Guilty Gear disturbs me. That is the best fighting game series hands down, it's essentially Street Fighter on crack and cranked up to 11. SO much depth, such amazing combat, kick ass characters and music, it's a massive bundle of AWESOME.
It trumps every other 2D fighter in my opinion.
Do you have that game? If so, what version is it?Gigaguy64 said:JoJo's Bizarre Adventure:Heritage for the Future
