I can throw a decent punch but if I ever got in a fight dare say I'd go for the ol dodge, headlock, beat the shit out of their face tactic.
First off - I <3 your kit. Can't believe you're not stuck with the oh so boring (and difficult to keep clean) white gi.The Dr Jack said:Haseo21 said:Standard is punching, uppercuts, hooks, just regular fighting, or what some people call Brutal Style
Martial-Arts: jiu-jitsu, king-fu all that asian junk
Wrestling: Elbow drops, pile drivers, sling shot, can-openers
Im Standard style
I hate these threads. Most of the people that claim to practice a martial art are probably talking bollocks, and the people that say "Grab the nearest weapon" have blatantly never been in a fight.
This is an internet forum, so you could claim to be as good as friggin Bruce Lee.
Anybody that has been in a proper fight knows that it's finished in no more than 5 moves.
Sure, I could be talking shit here, but I just hate seeing pretentious idiots blow themselves up to appear something they are not.
EDIT: I practice Shotokan and Freestyle Karate.

That is me
I don't know how to do the spoiler thing ¬.¬
Ah, that's what I figured, ta. I'd always just assumed that was part of the Shotokan bit, though I suppose it's not really related to a style, so.... yeah. The best part of karate, thatThe Dr Jack said:Thanks man!
Finally, someone on this thread that actually chooses to acknowledge what I've said and agrees :3
There are so many bullshitters posting here it's unbelievable... "yeh man id jst pil3dr1ve his faic"... Seriously? if you don't know what you're talking about, then stfu.
I don't mind people imagining what they'd do, but keep it real and keep it reasonable.
My plan? If someone is mugging me at knifepoint, give them my wallet. How often do I carry anymore than £20? Not often. And I'd happily give up £20 to not get stabbed.
EDIT: @Kazuki, the freestyle aspect is mainly the sparring - incorporating what you've learned and some good ideas of your own.

Cowardly? Me? Never.
