When I'm able to stay focused on the task I usually just grab a limb and twist until something breaks or the screams get too loud, people just love giving you their arms when they're trying to hit you and since all I know is what I see on TV and games (which I'm aware is nothing at all) I'm not above resourcefulness and "dirty" tricks to end a conflict.

To be honest though, 2 out of 3 actual fights I've been in I give in to the adrenaline and turn into a flailing idiot, which luckily is effective when you're bigger and they are doing the same.

In short, I probably can't fight worth beans, and chances are neither can most of the people in this thread, its best to be resourceful, know when to run and accept that sometimes its either their balls or your face.

Technically, a martial artist. It's just that martial art incorporates strikes to the groin, eyes and throat

My first move is to try and confuse them with logic, or just with random words:

"My wall is not four foot tall!"
"...what?"
Chair to the face.

"What came first, the chicken or the egg!?"
"...what?"
Chair to the solaplexus

"If God is all knowing and all powerful then do we as human beings have free will?"
"Well, if we were to examine this from a Kantian perspective, then one could determine-"
Chair to the knee-caps.

Only thing I would not do is go for the genitals, everything else is fair game.

I like to think of my battle style as rather unique.

It is the style of "Run into battle, get your ass kicked, limp out of battle. Wash, rinse, repeat."

A bit of everything.

I've learned a bit of boxing, for proper blocking and evading punches as well as giving solid ones back.

Several years worth of Han Moo Do, for quick techniques to disarm, counterattack and acquire submission holds. Naturally, as with any proper martial arts, there is also extensive practice of falling properly.

Thise combined with a bit of the school of though of 'everything is a weapon' and some Krav Maga 'dirty' fighting techniques make me a bit of a all-rounder but master of none. I mainly attempt to subdue my opponents with joint-locks or submission holds or use throws to put them down long enough to run away and gain a sufficient distance from them so they can't catch me. If it doesn't work, I can always bash their head against the nearest solid object or use some of the more painful submission/disarming techniques.

I know fully well I am physically capable of killing someone unarmed. I also know several ways to do it, besides the 'bash them in the head until it caves in' method.

But I consiously avoid those methods as long as possible. The worst I've done is dislocate a shoulder; coupled with a wrist lock, that was enough to tame the guy until police arrived. Considering he attempted to rob me and beat me up with a knife, both I and the cops thought it acceptable use of force (specially since I didn't force the dislocation until lesser means proved ineffective).

Martial-Arts: jiu-jitsu, king-fu all that asian junk
Jiu-jitsu isn't Asian, it's Brazilian. Perhaps you meant Jujutsu?

Additionally, it's Kung Fu, not King Fu.

Anyway, mine is a combination of martial arts (not shit ones like Karate), specifically Judo, Jujutsu and Aikido. Martial arts family, with my mum and oldest sister being 4th dan Judoka and dan grades in a few other martial arts each.

Couple that with my knowledge of pressure points and good areas to attack.

I only ever get in fights when I am drunk beyond all hope.

But my style tends to be, "Hey man that's not cool, take it easy." for the first few punches, followed by enraging and flipping out.

I'm sporting a chipped tooth, black eye, bloodied nose and several stupid looking lumps on my head as a result of this fighting style vs. a group of guys, but atleast I walked away fine afterwards.

Apparently it isn't working for me too well, time to take up boxing.

I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, as well as a beginner in Yoshukai(offshoot of Okinawan karate). But I don't fight like I was taught , I have incorporated stuff from other style like Krav maga and Jeet Kun Do and thus have a very improvisational style.

I have no fighting style. I just throw punches and kicks and hope that one of them will land.

Standard is punching, uppercuts, hooks, just regular fighting, or what some people call Brutal Style

Martial-Arts: jiu-jitsu, king-fu all that asian junk

Wrestling: Elbow drops, pile drivers, sling shot, can-openers

Im Standard style
I have to say, that is one of the worst definitions of fighting styles I've ever read.

Have you made a mistake and meant to post this in the Gaming Forum, because it doesn't seem to have much basis in reality?

Martial Arts aren't all Asian, and calling them "all the asian junk" seems a little bit... er... 'prejudiced'.

Punching, uppercuts and hooks, which you describe as brutal style is commonly known as Boxing, which is a western Martial Art. What seem to be grasping for by saying standard or brutal style is actually brawling, and isn't restricted to punches, it includes attacks with all limbs and the head, grappling/wrestling and weapons.

What you've described as Wrestling is Sports Entertainment and not actually a fighting style at all, those moves are all choreographed performances which require the equal participation of both parties. Nobody could fight using those.

Actual wrestling is also a Martial Art, again Western in nature, and part of the wider spectrum of grappling martial arts which includes Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Sambo to name but a few.

Maybe your categories should be something like Brawling, Traditional Striking Martial Art, Traditional Grappling Martial Art, Mixed Martial Arts and Fantasy. (but even those are poor categories compared to the broad spectrum of martial arts and fighting styles).
Yes this is very true and I was going to write this the second I saw the poll.. but I was Ninja'd... I hate it when people think all Martial Arts are Asian, the Martial Arts isn't even Asian the name is of Greek origin.

Anyway for me it's Muay Thai, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing and still doing Kyukushin Karate and getting pretty damn good at it.

i doubt 90% of the people posting here know any of those styles.

And that stuff never works in an actual street fight, so its useless to me.
I have some boxing experience, and some basic takedown from my buddy who trains MMA, so to sum it up, i punch a lot. But I can also get you down, and punch you a lot more.
