Whatever I pick up... so other. A lot of MMA with a lot of 'Brutal' never heard it referred to as that... most call it street-fighting... Although I prefer to stay standing... the floor is too dirty for my taste...

There is also an old trick I use... fling your head into their first punch and break their knuckles... but if you are concussion prone it will not work... lol

I smell massive amounts of bullshit in this thread.

The few times I fought most people called my style "embarassing"

This.

Running, Elbows, Shins of steel. 'Gravity is a fickle friend, harry...'
But, I don't fight. My strategy leads to tripping.

I did a few years of Tae Kwon Do although it really goes out of the window in a real fight. It's all fine and good being able to kick to somebodies head but can you do it while getting punched in the face?
I took up boxing a few years ago, it's much better in an actual fight and I have more fun training boxing than I ever did Tae Kwon Do.

Does ignoring pain and just swinging my fists until the bastard I'm fighting falls down count as a style? If not, then I don't have a fighting style.

I studied Judo about 4 years ago, but I've forgotten most of it. My fighting style now is slightly scrappy and simply involves predicting what the other guy is going to do next. With the occassional bit of martial arts knowledge sneaking its way in to assist. Being angry seems to be a general factor to my style, if I'm quite honest.

Standard is punching, uppercuts, hooks, just regular fighting, or what some people call Brutal Style

Martial-Arts: jiu-jitsu, king-fu all that asian junk

Wrestling: Elbow drops, pile drivers, sling shot, can-openers

Im Standard style
I have to say, that is one of the worst definitions of fighting styles I've ever read.

Have you made a mistake and meant to post this in the Gaming Forum, because it doesn't seem to have much basis in reality?

Martial Arts aren't all Asian, and calling them "all the asian junk" seems a little bit... er... 'prejudiced'.

Punching, uppercuts and hooks, which you describe as brutal style is commonly known as Boxing, which is a western Martial Art. What seem to be grasping for by saying standard or brutal style is actually brawling, and isn't restricted to punches, it includes attacks with all limbs and the head, grappling/wrestling and weapons.

What you've described as Wrestling is Sports Entertainment and not actually a fighting style at all, those moves are all choreographed performances which require the equal participation of both parties. Nobody could fight using those.

Actual wrestling is also a Martial Art, again Western in nature, and part of the wider spectrum of grappling martial arts which includes Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Sambo to name but a few.

Maybe your categories should be something like Brawling, Traditional Striking Martial Art, Traditional Grappling Martial Art, Mixed Martial Arts and Fantasy. (but even those are poor categories compared to the broad spectrum of martial arts and fighting styles).
Yea thanks for the real confidence boost in my crappy life

Jiu-jitsu isn't Asian, it's Brazilian. Perhaps you meant Jujutsu?

Additionally, it's Kung Fu, not King Fu.

Anyway, mine is a combination of martial arts (not shit ones like Karate), specifically Judo, Jujutsu and Aikido. Martial arts family, with my mum and oldest sister being 4th dan Judoka and dan grades in a few other martial arts each.

Couple that with my knowledge of pressure points and good areas to attack.
I typed king-fu. Sorry that was a typo, the keys on my keyboard are really close together, like REALLY close

I'm a 'psycho fighter' to quote my friends. I always let them hit me first, then when I've peeled myself off of the floor, lay into the bastard. Dig your thumbs into his eyes, biting off a chunk of his face and kneeing him in the balls at the same time. My dad told me that the key to winning a fight is fear, and the key to fear is immense pain. Never NEVER scare them before they are blind, because thats when the chavs pull knives out. O yeah, and after you've done in the first guy, look around for another one, if noone steps up to the mark do that first guy again. I love my dad.

EDIT: Punches and kicks for when they are on the floor, not before!
why would you take a hit first? there is no good reason for this.
It takes a solid hit to make me angry enough to do the rest, I simply can't bring myself to taste another man's blood if he hasn't technically hit me.

Not that the likelihood of me needing to fight hand-to-hand is likely, I imagine the same goes for 99% of people on here.
This.

And I would also go with the "whatever works" option.
It's not that I get into fights too often, but asshole teenagers around here tend to be plentyful. They just taunt you, and if you make a comback, they just jump on you. It isn't nice.
Or the guy on the bus who nearly beat me up for looking at him.
People aren't always nice.

I'm sorry, I had no idea your life is crap, my condolences.

However, I would have thought that a practitioner of 'Brutal Style' would be able to withstand a lot worse things than a bit of constructive criticism, like the saying goes "sticks and stones may break my bones...".

Ju-Jitsu. If you can't fight em' standing, fight em' on the ground.

That sounded wrong, Didn't it.
